The Rockville Brass Band performs Reunion and Finale from the film "Gettysburg", composed by Randy Edelman, arranged by Andrew Duncan. Students from area high schools and colleges joined the Rockville Brass Band in this performance. This is one of 18 works that comprise Edelman's soundtrack to the 1993 film. The Rockville Brass Band performed under the baton of Rachel Zephir on June 16, 2024, at the Parilla Performing Arts Center in Rockville, MD. One week before this show, the band performed this work at the 27th Annual Gettysburg Brass Band Festival. That performance took place on Seminary Ridge, where the Confederate forces were headquartered, and where General Lee decided to withdraw his forces following a battle against the Union Army.
