I know she was being careful not to get anyone thrown in or have water dumped on them, but Backstreet Rookie is one of my favorite dramas and I got a little hurt when I watched this on Youth MT huhu. I was like “omg they’re finally mentioning backstreet rookie and then I was expecting a better interaction. AGHH SAETBYEOL WHYYY HAHAHAHAHAHA

the last clip where yoojung jokes with changwook seemed so saet byul and dae hyun to me, hahaha you can see that they are close because of those details because in korea talking to an elder like that is not common, I could imagine changwook answering yoojung "yaahh" like they get used to there, but laughing inside.

It was fun to watch, but I felt so embarrassed for Ji Chang-wook. Kim Yoo-jung was probably afraid of inadvertently saying the keywords so she couldn’t talk freely, but I can imagine how it feels when you ask someone how it was working with you as a partner and they hesitate to answer. 😅

Its a variety show not a kdrama

YJ has said that she and JCW are very close, what happened in Youth MT shows that. Somebody may say "oh they ignored each other", but actually, as you guys can see, when the actors did not know each other or may be not that close, they would talk a lot, and the camera will catch that to show yeah they are getting closer, so i think that YJ and CW do not talk much (or it isn't broadcasted) and due to different team, also. But whenever they interact to each other, they always play around (u guys can watch again), so yeah they re close.

I finished Youth MT and I was a bit disappointed with the lack of interaction between the two. I don't think it helped that they were both team captains so they didn't even get a chance to be on the same team during their first day games. I did think in one of the scenes where Yoo Jung walked up to Bo Yun to ask if she remembered her, Chang Wook was standing right there! I'm sure they had some interactions that weren't caught on camera (or maybe they edited out some of the interactions). As a fan of Backstreet Rookie, I would have loved to see more interaction between them. Fingers crossed for another project for them soon!
