Returning to Cerro Gordo After 11 Years! Brent Shows Us Around

Last time I visited Cerro Gordo it was a much different place. Back in 2011, the town seemed on the decline and not many people even knew it existed. Today there seems to be a boom happening again and it is thanks to new owner Brent Underwood and his dreams to build up the town, preserve history and make it destination for artists and tourists alike. Join me and my friends as we take a walking tour of Cerro Gordo California's famous Silver Mining boom town.

One of my favorite places is Cerro Gordo! I will be making a return trip up there this summer. My all time favorite was when Brent hosted the metal detecting weekend, and I along with many other people, had the opportunity to camp out there. My camp spot was just above the bunk house. Thanks for the look into the town of Keeler as well. Looks like I might be making a stop there as well.
