Ever since returning from Florida, I had been itching to return to Tweetsie Railroad, and on June 7th, 2024, I got that chance. That day marked the first day of the park's incredibly popular "Day Out With Thomas" event, meaning the little blue tank engine was front and center, smiling to his adoring fans as he tackled the three-mile trek around Roundhouse Mountain. Tagging along at the back, and not to be outdone, Locomotive #12 once again had the honors of being Thomas' assist, and she put on an excellent show! All in all, while maybe not the first trip to Tweetsie I had expected to go on, it was still a fantastic time. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights and sounds of Tweetsie Railroad!
