Purple star represents unread lore or other info items in your journey log. The number is the quantity of entries that haven’t been read. I think it caps at 99.

Ahh that explains it. The unread flags aren't clearing for me most of the time. Recipes seem to clear at least.

the thing in the top left are the unread messages from your progress 😂 I was wondering too until I cleared my messages

Yup. It was confusing because they weren't clearing on my first read of the message. I had to go back and reopen them to clear them because reasons.

Just to let you know, if you don't know this already. You can press F to bring up the rope ladder.

Armor description is a bit inaccurate. Each blue helmet actually represents 100 armor and will dim when that 100 armor is lost. All items seem to lose armor evenly.

How did you get the bigger adventurers backpack?

Its one of the recipe drops in the Elven area. It requires the skins from those large deer looking animals.

You need to build the workbench to make the backpack upgrades. The firs one does use the hides, and the mountaineer one needs fine leather. You can make those in the loom. I think the recipe appears once you build the loom and make some fine leather.

@@thegamercavern I have the loom and workbench but I don't see the new backpack. The current one I have is 25 spaces one.

How can increase the morale bar when you are in deeps?

  • @thegamercavern

As far as I can tell, you can't. You have to basically run back up the shaft until you start gaining morale again, then go back down. I'm not overly fond of that mechanic.

Especially doesn’t make sense for a dwarf

Tolkien dwarves are not D&D dwarves they don't see in the dark. Being alone and in the dark is scary and hard on your morale. Esoecially when there are creatures out there that want to kill you. Getting so scared or demoralized that you just give up is something that does hapoen to people in real life situations where you are alone, hungry and suffering from cold or other deprivation, I guess this is how they are trying to force you to take measures to prevent this. That said "dying" is a bit extreme, although I suppose you can think of it as giving up and going back to your base since you revive there. Applying wosening debuffs to reduce your abilities to the point where you will be vulnerable, making you move slower and fight poorly would be enough of a penalty to make you avoid it I think.
