All the people complaining about the artwork. You realize you’re complaining about someone who is massively influenced by H. R. Giger and Frank Frazetta. Two of the best illustrators/artists ever. Ever. Let alone comics. And this guys is massively influenced. His name is Sam Kieth. And he’s fuckin incredible. One of the most prolific artists in comics. Period. Alien. Hulk. Some of the best Wolverine and Batman illustrations ever, and some of the best stories/runs in general. And where you might actually see the resemblance and come to appreciate how great the artwork is... the Maxx. A ton of other work too. But the Maxx was even a show on MTV in the early 90’s. Look at one of the most acclaimed artwork and stories in comics ever, the Sandman, published by DC/Vertigo. Similar style. And remember this was the 80’s. They were experimenting and trying to create something different and great. The printers couldn’t keep up. But he was so great he was one of the few of the greats who left Marvel to start their own label/publishing co....you may have heard of it. It’s called Image Comics. Yeah. One of the founders with macfarlane, Jim lee...so yeah. Incredible art and artist.

He was posthumously decorated for bravery in the lore. Idk where it says but I learned it off of this channel. Or it may have been Acidglow lol

I love all of the sound effects that you add. You always create a wonderful iteration of the tale you're telling. Keep up the great work!

Alien theory you have to find a way to become an audiobook narrator; your voice and inflection are amazing. You can infuse emotions into your story telling in ways very few narrators can.

Tremendous. I remember finding the collected Earth War comic at a Walden Books when I was a little kid in a sale bin for $5. It had been just a few years since Alien 3 had been out and I was shocked there was this other storyline. Love it. Interestingly, the Assembly Cut of 3 is my favorite of the films.

Excellent as usual. Now off to the Queen Mother and to save a special girl.

I nearly choked on a chicken wing trying to click this without covering my mouse in buffalo sauce. It all was going so well until the chestburster came out.

Whilst walking my kids to school I was speaking to one of the other Dads about this series because he had just gone to see Alien at the cinema for the 40th anniversary and he said he still has the original comics. A few weeks later he told me he dug them out to go through them again

Gotta say I'm not feeling the art style of whichever artist took over the series once Ripley came into play. Loved the art prior to that (the Spears chapters, in particular, were great). The design of Spudheaded Guy and friends here, by comparison, is a little off-putting. That said, these uploads are great. Really enjoying getting through these. Thanks a lot!

Always found the artwork in this series to be off-putting coming off the realistic, gritty and subdued look of the previous comics, especially the guns, good grief. Thankfully with your narration the story shines past it much more.
