Return of the Neckband | The Wild Way Ep 38

We are bringing back an old friend: our Wild Brothers neckbands! They remind us of all our adventures growing up as missionary kids in the jungle, and now we are donning them again, ready for a new set of adventures here in the States!

Amazing guys! Keep it up! And I loved the message here. My mom and I were literally just talking about the same thing regarding using cultural things as tools for Christ, but not letting the ultimate standard of God, found in His Word, be overridden by ungodly cultural things.

Love love love the neckbands! I looked on your website and would love to buy one. Unfortunately, I live in Guatemala as a missionary with my family and that’s too much money for a neckband. Anyway I love your creativity to make and sell these. Great way to stay connected to your adopted culture! Praying for y’all

Love your point Asher. We need to be in the world but not of it. In my family we have also begun to adopt the culture in Guate in the 5 years we’ve been there. We need to be careful not to adopt the parts that are sinful like you said. In that aspect we are called to be different and stand out from the crowd. However, adopting parts of the culture can and have definitely made a huge difference in our culture. Lol I just heard you refer to the same verse I mentioned above. I think that’s Romans 12:2 and it is a great verse to live by. Thank you all for your faith in the Lord and for leaning on Him through it all! It’s such an encouragement to see people in their teens like me who love the Lord and live Christcentric lives. Keep it up!

If you're looking for a consistent source of live branches you might talk with one of the tree removal companies like Bayou ...
