Finally someone who understands to value of surprise salvos, and NOT focus on dpm/reload! The longer the reload, the more valuable is the concealment, gg wp!

Epic display of patience and it certainly paid off. Agree that Battleship concealment is an underestimated asset. I've got Dewey on Missouri for triple concealment and racked up over 3k base xp with Confederate/High-Caliber and Clear Sky with 65 planes shot down. Don't use AL New Jersey much since getting AL Colorado so may give this build a try. GG...enjoyed watching👍

Excellent battle. I just got Vermont this morning so look forward to building it into concealment and see how I do. Thanks for showing the underdogs when they are built and played right.

Reminds me of the old World of Warcraft adage, “dead = 0 DPS.” Basically it’s fine to push damage numbers, but you can’t contribute to your team if you die in the middle of the fight. Speccing into concealment is one very good way to keep yourself alive.

Yes. That’s why I spent most of the game kiting after that Ohio clapped me from across the map. Wasn’t expecting that to happen at all. But I think had I tried being more aggressive, I would’ve surely sunk and I don’t know that we still would’ve won. And the concealment did help with the staying alive.

The Vermont's viability and survivability were definitely improved by the changes to plane spotting. You can't fire spam what you can't see. And now that battleships and cruisers can't spot half the map ignoring islands just by popping a fighter, HE spammers are now entirely dependent on hull spotting.

On PC, Vermont is a beast, 27kl fire range, fast shells, and accurate, as long you dont go brawling in the middle of the map trying to cap LOL Other players just stay far in the back snipping, that dosent help the team. I like Flamus strategy to stay in the middle and have full view of the whole map

Funny, every Vermont I have ever seen is always 100% at the back of the map. I have a ways to go right now lol, but currently Vermont and Venezia going.

The way Vermont lost her HP at the top of the match and that quick is alarming!😮 I don't have her yet because I don't have the Minnesota. 😢 Double coconcealment.....peekaboo tactic.....interesting. 😮

The Vermont has a pretty exposed citadel. If someone hit is right, like that Ohio, you’re in big trouble. But frankly you’re in big trouble if you even get focused because it’s so girthy and has so much real estate for catching shells.

The brick is a good name for that ship 😮

Wish I could claim that I came up with it.

I am absolutely depressed that they nerfed Go All Out, because with it I would run a flanking concealment build on my French battleships. 9.5 km detection JB LOL.

Concealment isnt a top priority for me because of my aggressive playstyle most of the time. It is absolutely awesome to be able to dictate engagements for sure but considering i am almost always at the front I would much rather have a faster reload and a bit of accuracy to get more shells on target more often. Vermont However may be one exception because of the slow nature of the ship and its almost complete inability to get away i could see speccing into concealment and due to its 12 guns you wont really notice much of a hit in the accuracy department.

This very well may be Xarkun's finest work. He's never been one to make claims without demonstrable evidence but this right here is an example of 3-Dimensional thinking. 1. He understood the structural design of his ship inside and out. 2. He went with a concealment build, regarding his inspirational commanders to mitigate that issue. 3. He demonstrated the patience of a 1972 Soviet ice hockey player, by looking for that perfect shot which is the classic patience game, and because he did this, he focused on the long game, and by focusing on that long game, it's his team that wins this match. And he committed the grande majority of the damage with 40,000 hit points or less on a 102,000 hit point Vermont. 9.5 out of 10 players would have not been alive at this matches conclusion. If Xarkun isn't a Super Unicum, he's well on his way as this video showcased. Well Done my good man ! Well done indeed. It can be said in truth that Xarkun is to Concealment as VII Hipper was to Agility, but that's just me. That doesn't leave much room for anyone else so.... Maybe I can be the Patron Saint of Ramming 😜

Thank you. I don’t mind being to what concealment to what VII Hipper was to rudders. That’s fine. You can probably make a case that I go overboard on the concealment value in some cases, but I think I’ve got enough stuff, including this video, to demonstrate the value.

Good game and Video Xarkun. I just got this ship and to say I’m very disappointed with it would be an understatement. In its present form I would describe it as complete and utter trash. After spending weeks in bureau. Most of the ships I get from the Bureau are good but this is sh*t. It's parked and I will not play it again unless they buff it.

Everything about the ship, except the main battery, is trash. I don’t disagree with that. But I think the main battery power is what makes it worth playing. It’s just hard to use the main battery due to the slow speed and the fact that the hull is a giant damage piñata, so I understand why people don’t like it. I just think really good guns can make up for a lot.

Concealment build is good but it is very situational. Most games we get in BB are full of DDs so the concealment is rendered useless when we are spotted by dd even if red Bb are outside of our detection range. It's just weird. WG matchmaking just always have a way to screw us over, just like you never get a carrier game when you're in a full AA friesland.
