Return of the 1702: Steam & Diesel on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad

On July 3-4, 2024, I traveled to the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad in Bryson City, NC to celebrate the return of their steam locomotive, No. 1702. I began by chasing the ferry move from Dillsboro to Bryson City on the 3rd, and chased the Nantahala Gorge train on Independence Day. F9 4210 was leading the eastbound leg of this excursion, so I chased the return to Bryson City as well. We finish the video with a short chase of the railroad's Tuckaseegee River Excursion with GP38-2 No. 2668 in the lead. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights and sounds of "The Steam of the Smokies"!

Magnificent catches of the train coming by and pass, I like it 5 stars. Hearing that steam locomotive doing puffing and chufing sound is absolutely crazy. Keep up the perfect work, my friend, you earned a new subscriber, Greetings from Portugal to the USA.
