This is in battery saving mod? These games should run in 2X resolutions with no problems.

I have the rp4 pro as well and your not getting the right performance. I suspect that you do not have the unit running with peerformance set to high and fan set to smart or sport in the notification shade toggle switch. Trust me on this. Also some games run better on Pal versions.

Timesplitters 2 runs great on my 2s via dolphin for handheld so definitely would run great on the rp4 with dolphin

i love my rp4 pro its my first handheld and its great i only have 523 games on it

Great video, thanks for all that effort. Been going back and forth on getting this or the base model. Seems like the RP4 pro can do in standard settings what the RP4 base can do in performance mode, when it comes to PS2. Can you tell me how much battery life you can expect with the Base in performance vs. the pro in standard mode? Does it significantly outlast the base model? I am confused because Retro Game Corps says the battery life on the base RP4 seems better.

Glad I could help mate. I'll have to do a comparison to be sure but I feel that the Base being constantly on high will run the battery out faster

@@Chemik1769 The Odin 2 squeaks a win for twice to three times the price depending on what model you decide to go with and is damn near the price of a bloody Steamdeck which, honestly, would be a much wiser place to spend your money rather then a bloody Odin 2, which, BTW is being replaced as top dog by the another handheld that was just announced bloody, blah, blah, blah. There's always a better handheld every 24 hours Retro news cycle kid. Smarten up.

It's because he's not running it on high performance and smart fan. It can run in 2x in great performance for most games.

Anbernic 556 csn play ps2 games too with mostly same performance for cheaper. I think that is better buy
