Best review of this case I've seen on KZread. Here's a tip - if you want more stable performance in PS1 games, use PAL (Europe) roms which run at 25FPS, which is about what the pi zero can do consistently. Also they don't have the black bars on the top and bottom in Spyro and Crash Bandicoot games.

My rpi0/w 2022 version has standoffs for assembly both boards together before screwing case together😎 Love it😊

Just an FYI: A buddy of mine Jon Dagnillo stated this pertaining to the micro usb port on GPI case: "Just so you know you CAN use the micro USB on the back for a keyboard, etc. but you have to use an OTG hub to power the Pi through that port. Then you will be able to use a keyboard but the gamepad on the GPi will be disabled"

When I put the sd card in to my computer, I can’t find in the boot where to add roms too? Don’t have WiFi but I have roms on my pc but I just don’t know where to add them on the sd card

Super retropie on facebook has a really nice preconfigured image that works well with playstation.

Good to know I'm not the only one that had issues with ps1. Kept freezing up on me at emulation station. For right now I'm using the older super retropie image that doesnt have the ps1 controls configured

There's a fix that I think might help with that issue, if you have a spare SD card, burn the latest SR image, do a controls_menu_update on it, and try it out. See if it works better for you.

yea i have same issue. when i exit out after playing a psx game and start a different psx game. the system blacks out. def a bug.

But can it run Crysis?

Is there any controller delay?

I HIGHLY recommend everyone get a set of Eneloop batteries with the charger.

PAC-Man and Mortal Kombat are what I’d be playing so that’s too bad about the d-pad.

a modder called akumamods replaced the d-pad with the one from the game boy pocket, which worked very well !

The RPi0 uses 6w compared to the 12w+ of the full size RPis. You would get less than an hour of battery life if a 1-4 model RPi was used with 3 AA batteries

Well I would assume that the G stands for Gameboy but obviously they can't name it Game Boy and Pi is probably for raspberry pi so if anything GPI stands for Gameboy Pi case. G Pi case sounds just as weird as GPI case
