Andy you should do an episode where when you win, you build their team on your console, and tell them to guess the positions and they have to discard whatever they hit. Would make it hurt extra hard when they were the one who chose to discard their own expensive player accidentally.

19 was probably my favourite fifa. I used el tornados before it was popular in fifa 18 (only ronaldo griezmann and dele alli could perform it that year) so when it was available for every 5sm player it was a dream for me (not for tornado crosses, but for tornado volley shots). As dumb as this fifa was with all the broken things it felt the most casual since fifa 15/14. Also the fifa with best pack pulls for me - 3 icons all tradable ( prime kluivert, mid best and prime eusebio).

The licensing situation hasn't changed so it still won't be possible to have current players with cards at their former clubs. Image rights are too important and the clubs would never allow it. Literally the only difference licence-wise is that there's no World Cup licence and they can't use the 'FIFA' name.

On the topick of downgrading Icons how has Litmanen and rui costa been downcraded, Rui costa was literally 2-3 best serie a for a long time and Litmanen was essential in Ajaxes CL and should have won a ballondor for that. But because they have bad stats and nobody cares for them they are gettting downcraded

Basically it means having a card from an old Fifa reintroduced to the current game so like a TOTS Ronaldo at Madrid or Messi at Barca. But with licensing it wouldn’t work. Bateson also means that it wouldn’t start till EA FC 25 so they had a pile of cards to choose from. Good example would be Mbappe getting a TOTS this season (23/24) at PSG, he moves to Madrid next summer he saying they could bring back an PSG Mbappe in EAFC 25. That’s what I think he means but happy to be corrected if it’s wrong
