I love how dude is bitching about persona 3 but he is a fan of smt nocturne and smt 4, that are two rng disasters themselves (love the games tho, but the critics are totally unfair and most of them applies to shin Megami tensei too)

Nocturne has the excuse of being older and the first game with press turn, 4’s jsut unbalanced until you get to Tokyo where the game because a complete joke

If i'm correct in assuming that he's basing his review on a replay then his take on nyx being easy is obviously wrong , the experience you get from playing multiple smt games will make your persona replays a cakewalk ( unless you do some kind of challenge and give your self a handicap) , it took me 2 days to beat nyx on normal when i was new into persona ( and megaten in general) , when i replayed the game after jumping into smt i didn't find nyx that difficult even on hard mode ( tho some floor bosses are nasty on that mode )

Pretty sure this guy also says P4 is the best game so idk if it’s that. But I do think anyone who loves P4 and hates P3 has an opinion I cannot take seriously for the life of me.

@@ma.2089 actually i'm a hardcore p4 fanboy , even with it's flaws ( many of them are for the simple fact of being a first game in a new genre ) the vibe and atmosphere and the unique relation between the cast and later the payoffs of p3 are godly .

@@noureddine3648 yeah it’s mostly that P4 offers an experience so different to P3 that I know I can’t personally take that opinion seriously. What they clearly like and look for in games are the opposite of my desires. I don’t want to completely brush off their experience, but I do find P4 lacking in areas P3 excels in. And what P4 offers doesn’t interest me, but there is good to the game. I just don’t find it as good as other ppl do. And tbh, I don’t think P4 has any flaws for being the “1st of its genre”. P3 and P1 have that excuse, not P4.

​@@ma.2089 i'm actually praising p3 here , just mentioned that it's coming from me being also a p4 fanboy , the weakest one in my subjective opinion is p5 ( aside from the royal content) , weak in comparison with the cast + story + vibes of p4 and p3 but still a good game overall .

WHO LET HIM COOK? Oh, I did mb Even as someone that thinks P3 is overrated and nowhere near as good as 4 or 5, that video was straight bootycheeks. Not a single good take.

As someone who considers P3 my favorite but still recognizes that it is pretty dated and has many flaws, his takes were absolute shit.

That video (SimplyDad's, not Retro's) was as awful as Cvit's video on Persona 5. 7:01 Even Persona 1 and 2 had friendship stuff. Need we remind people that EP's events couldn't even start if the buddies didn't rebuild the world??

Haven’t finished video yet but it seems like the maker is misunderstanding the concept of being a leader that the original was trying to point out. This game made you feel like a leader by letting you give your team commands and then they act individually without your input. With the newer games you don’t give commands to a team like a leader but rather take full control over them as if you were the character themselves.

to be fair i thought nyx was pretty easy. i was lvl 92 because the game kept telling me to prepare. (i did have part control tho so maybe thats why)

Nyx level is 75 and this is the balanced level for the fight so you were overleveled

​@@hassanalshaikhsaleh1511I beat the reaper, grinded to level 90 in Monad, fused Messiah, helel and Satan and skipped the death portion of Nyx using Armageddon 💀 I have done this on every playthrough and have actually never fought Nyx's true phase... I feel like such a cheater after seeing all these guys struggle.

@@mattf.868 And don't worry about it you are not a cheater, everyone can play the game with any style they like, I tried both styles, the low level and the high level and I can say each one has its own pros and cons, when you are trying to be at a low level this makes you too much limited and you cannot experience the game's mechanics to the fullest but with high level you enjoy more and it is a lot easier but you need to grind more
