I'm not saying that tobacco doesn't cause cancer, but I couldn't help but notice that lung cancer is much more prevalent in heavily developed and heavily sprayed parts of the country, including the area between Minnesota and Louisiana concentrated at the mouth of the Mississippi, and in and around the N. Eastern megalopolis. I think a lot of pollution and pesticide deaths are being blamed on tobacco. Now that people aren't smoking as much, they're trying to blame the sun. _"This farmer got skin cancer on his arm. We're gonna ignore the shit he sprayed on the dirt he handles and blame it on solar radiation."_ I may be mistaken, but I think tobacco and cotton are among the most heavily sprayed crops.

I always wonder what the actors in these old commercials are doing today; how many are alive, how many still act, how many have regular jobs etc, etc. Especially the Oscar Meyer kid.
min 2:43 "What y'do (ya fu%$in twerp watching this) is put one between yer lip n gum..." :D

Yeah...wish the NJ Generals held on 'till '87. Would've been interesting to see NJG v. NFL during strike season. Flutie was QB in '83 & shocked NFL when Herschel Walker passed up NFL Draft & signed w/Generals. Would've put up a good fight.
I want to go to Cooky’s restaurant yum
I'm betting that's David Huddleston doing the V/O for the Product 19 spot.
Good Seasons jingle singer sounds like David Clayton-Thomas.

17:38 Another voice-over by the great Peter Thomas. 7:03 Florence Warner is the main singer in this Cheerios commercial. 13:54 The lighting in this commercial is such an advertising cliche. LOL! 19:01 Len Gochman on the voice-over for Delta.

LOL! Good one!
German wines really made a push back then. I wasn't old enough to drink, but my parents thought getting a Rhine wine was pretty classy. Might also have been my mother was doing research and tracked down her Swabian ancestry.
3:00 - Take a tongue and gum cancer pouch instead of a puff!
