Love your videos. I have been watching since Sprig and I am finally getting a lab pup of my own. Your videos have been tremendously helpful for me to get some notes on how to train my dog! Y’all are great.

Howdy, a few weeks into basic obedience training with a lot of help from your videos! Appreciate all the help. Quick question, just introduced his bumper to him and he just wanted to lay down and chew on it. Any tips to encourage him to come back?

Brand new to the channel and loving it so far. Watching the Clutch series to prepare myself to bring a lab into my family litter. Quick question, why no clicker in this session?

Since you are doing few repetitions, which other things can be done to burn a bit more the energy of the puppy?

I have been just trying to work on potty training. Really trying to work on my black lab puppies biting, when she bites she bites hard and wont stop unless i pry her off. No reaction to yelping ouch or leaving... Caused me to bleed a couple times and one of them she actually slit my finger 😩. Any advice?

That's the mistake I'm going to want to make. I have as much fun watching the retrieve as they have making it... I'm going to want to do it all day long. ;-) I love playing fetch with a dog.

What do you do to exercise/play with your puppies when you aren’t doing the retrieving?

I have 2 intact females and 1 intact male in my home that I do not intend to breed. When the females are in season, I locate them to a different part of the house and give them a different yars, but my Male still has a hard time with constant whining and crying. Any suggestions (besides fixing them) to help him out.

I will start with this isn't a hunting training question. But I have a young black lab where in the house or anywhere in general if I drop something he has to grab it and bite it. If it's food related it's down the hatch to quick for me to even get it. I just want to know if you have a good way going about stopping him from grabbing the stuff. Otherwise I love your training videos. Have been very beneficial.

Aloha! I have a Brittany that I’m training and we used balls in the beginning to play with her. She has definitely developed some rolling mouthing issues when we switched to the bumpers. Is there anything I can do at this point (she’s about 6.5 months) ? I’m still playing a bit of tug with her when retrieving but I can see her chomping on the bumper as she’s running to me and when I try to sit her next to me to calm her down. I try to take it away as soon as I see her mouthing it but it’s getting more difficult as her jaws are becoming stronger.
