I am a trucker from Northern California and my son lives in Iowa and is a fuel delivery driver for Casey's. I pray for the return of your family member and my brother trucker.

This story needs national attention. Prayers for his safe return. ❤

It makes no sense that he got out of his truck. There is nothing he would have needed outside of his rig. I pray he is found safe. God bless his family!

I wouldn't want that arrogant cop in charge of someone going across town, let alone a murder investigation.

Theres more to the story. A trucker would have pulled off the road in a safe location. A trucker would have left engine and lights on. A trucker would have never left livestock sitting.

That man never got back in the truck when he went to go load the pigs. Y’all need to be looking on that farm. The sheriff is related to the owner of that farm. The police are covering this up. Don’t know grown ass man just disappear off the face of the Earth. Someone else drove that truck and left it parked like that not him.

This is not far from where I live, I wish they would update more on the local news. They need to find this man. This is nuts! It is also very scary to think someone can just disappear like that. Prayers for his family.

I hope he is found and i would be searching everywhere like where he picked up the pigs, the truck stop, and the place where he was supposed to drop off the pigs. Cause if anyone else has noticed on the map his cellphone traveled south to get on highway 20, then started heading west until he stopped at the truck stop which was a 27 minute drive, then continued west for another 44 minutes then turned right(North) instead of turning left (South) to go to his drop off location in Sac City.

Someone could have gotten in his truck at some point and used force to redirect him 😢

I travel all over the country, east west north south mountains to sea, all over the place. I usually take 20 through Iowa on my way to Sturgis every year. Nice little towns, and nice people. Fort Dodge is a cool historic town, I like to wave at the train engineers that are always there loading up, lol, they always wave back. Sometimes i take 30 (Lincoln hwy), them crop dusters swoop down pretty low over the road, lol. I also know the Sons O S mc out there in Des Moines and such. So Ive ridden all over that state. I obviously see alot of truckers. Most are great guys it seems, although i have been f*cked with by some, but thats very very rare. Most truckers give me a big thumbs up. We share the road. I try to only ride during the day, and get a hotel before it gets late, so i can get dinner, a good night sleep, and be back on the road early in the morning. The freaks, the drunks, etc, come out at night.

The fact they took the pig manure from under the pigs leads me to believe they are ruling out that he was fed to them since they eat everything.

Can they look at the nearest. Cameras going bothways from where his truck was? Possibly see him in a vehicle being kidnapped? Or sse a suspicious vehicle?

Reports were that he was late to pick up the pigs. Cell phone pings should show where he was that caused him to be late for the pickup. Also, why did the wife wait so long before she called police? Even if Schultz had gone to the delivery place, but wasnt planning on unloading until morning, he should have been home by 9:00 and 10:00AM.

I have never heard of leave pigs, sholts or hogs on a bull wagon any longer than nessissary. They are on high demand for frequent watering.

@mariatorres9789 What attracted me to this story is I've been a trucker for about 12years and the area he went missing is the area I frequent US20 and I-80. From my experience bad things mostly happen at truckstops. We aren't pulling over on the side of the road unless it's on PURPOSE! 🤔 I believe its either sex(an affair) or money (drug deal) or of course 👽🛸

@arielshikoba1857 Well I agree w/ that. I've had a couple scary instances driving cross country, & weirdos at truck stops or rest areas. I even pulled over one in broad daylight, rest area w/ 30 cars on the right w/ families, & a dozen truckers on the left. I put a cot under a small tree, tied my Husky up, & was going to take a 20 min power nap. I guess I was exhausted, because my dog started going nuts, I jumped up & there was a trucker running at me w/ a 3ft wire stretched between his hands. I got the dog off the leash & held her between my knees, standing there, she was going to tear his throat out. She KNEW he was bad. He paced back & forth a couple times, & went back to his truck. I tossed the cot in & hit the road asap.I had slept for an hour, & everyone had pulled out! We were alone. After that, I started carrying a gun & would keep it with me in the back of the truck to rest & camp. The road is a dangerous place for women.

I heard about this on another channel. If you're interested, that channel had a few interesting and informative videos on it. It's Love Travel Adventure

Check phone records between the missing man and his wife, family and friends. Perhaps he was called and asked to meet someone at his last known location.

Yes, young hogs. Didn't sound like they were piglets but did sound like they were smaller younger hogs. Likely a couple or few months old im guessing.

Did anyone think to look in the trailer? lots of guys have passed out or died RIGHT in their trailers, and having hogs on they will eat people

I think they meant David never delivered them. Yes. The hogs were quickly picked up (transferred into another semi that backed up to David's) and taken to their destination. It was reported that they didn't lose any hogs.

@@punkstermom1984Is there any news about the missing semi driver in Iowa-David Shultz? I’m a grandmother who lives in Illinois and saw this on the news and have wondered if there has been good news about finding him. I can’t imagine losing contact with my kids.
