Retiring from Virginia to Maine - 2018 Goal # 1
Well Kat and I finally succeeded in selling out Virginia Beach home, moving to Maine and retiring. We are so excited to move on to the next stage of our life. We are working to get permanently moved into the new house - a small bit of work is needed beforehand. This channel is a way to stay in touch with friends and family all over the world and a kind of hobby. Don't take any of it too seriously :-)

Thank you so much. Things are slow but progressing. Unsuspected finds and family have added more time than anticipated - should have figured - but this is still our wonderful journey. Hope to have a new video out in the coming days.

Matt & Kat Things If you do Facebook, there’s a pretty active group called “Retire to Maine”. A lot of people there would be interested in your content, probably. Many are starting or considering the same kind of move.

great video. I can't blame them for moving out of Virginia Beach. Virginia Beach is so overly price but the surrounding areas like Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Newport News aren't worth living in. You get more bang for your buck in Maine.

I was living in VAB - I now live in the Augusta ME area.
