Great video and trip Tyler. As you can see GPS coupled with Google Maps works well in Jamaica. Got me straight many a time on the road, when I had no clue. When you make that road trip to Kingston or Montego Bay, you will love it even more. And what trip would be good without some youngsters in the back saying, "Are we there yet, drive faster?" :)

Hi Tyler, can i ask, please? As you guys talked about tax a few days ago, I and a friend were talking about when people buy a house in jamaica what they have to pay for after purchasing the property. I was born in jamaica but left when i was young. Here in the uk, i know you pay a mortgage, so could you do a video explaining what you well not exactly you but what persons pay for after please and thank you.

Hmm, so I suppose it wasn't all too different. We purchased from the realtor that was selling, had to get attorney to complete certain forms as we were overseas. Had a property line inspection done and paid what we offered. Other than changing the utilities into our name, there wasn't much else to it. We paid for the house in full, so no mortgage. Is there anything specific you were curious about?

@turnbull4family144 Hmm, so we didn't pay any large amount of taxes, but the person selling did have to pay a percentage of the sale price in taxes. The land titling also wasn't a huge amount, honestly don't remember the exact figure, and was all handled by the attorney.
