We moved to JC and love it. I haven't even heard of any HOAs here. I don't blame you for not wanting one. I wouldn't want someone else running my life.

I’m also in Arizona & looking to move to Johnson City.

Was known for it's affordability - Inventory is flying off the shelves and sales tax - it is a nice place to live

Hi Tiffany, Excellent video and appreciate the detailed information regarding seniors. I plan to move into the area in spring 2024. The VA is excellent there, and as a retired military who is 100% Service Connected, this will be perfect.

We definitely have more traditional homes around here...but we do have some condos and townhomes. Some currently being built also.

Hello Tiffany, while watching your video. I'm wondering is there bingo offered at the senior center in Johnson City. Also are there any fabric stores other than Joann's, in Johnson City. I like to make quilts So I would like to know what fabric stores are available? And if the fabric stores are not available in Johnson City. What would be the next closest town to where I could shop for material? If you could give me some information about this it would be really helpful. I'm planning on moving to Johnson City sometime in June or before. In 2024

Hey! I'm not aware of any bingo unfortunately. I've heard people have to travel out of state for bingo. Yes, there are lots of fabric stores in the area. Tennessee Quilts is just outside of Johnson City in the historic district of Jonesborough.

Great for retirement but what about if you are still working? Are there jobs?

Hello Tiffany can you tell me or is there senior apartments available in Johnson City area? As I had said in the previous comment I'm relocating to Johnson City and June of 2024 or if not before. And need to find a place to be able to rent. If you could suggest a few places I could check out that would be great thank you.

I'm not too familiar with any senior rentals in the area. Most of the places that I'm aware of are assisted living places.

Is there 55+ communities there

I'm aware of a couple of places...But never see too many vacancies. There seem to be many more senior living and retirement living facilities.
