I’m 55 hoping to end the rat race at 60 with $1M. I know money is a liability to be exchanged for assets with real value like real estate (rental income) stocks (dividends) gold (profit) But, what is it with crypto? I'd love to diversify my $200k portfolio for fast growth

The key is diversification. Personally, I delegate my investing to a license advisor, cos my job doesn't permit the time to perform market analysis myself. Thankfully, my stagnant portfolio has 5X in 5 years, barely 10% short of a 7figure account as of today.

Absolutely about the money. Money pays off the house. Money puts gas in car. Money puts food on the table. Money does those things so you don't have to work for them. Money/crypto gives you the freedom to retire.

Exactly. I understand what Jackson is saying but far to many people who most would think would be happy, have high self esteem and plenty of money are not. We see that with celebrities all day long. But with some of us we know exactly what we want and what to do with a set amount of funds in one lump sum and would completely content in life.

My husband and i have been following you for quite a while now, don't know where you went or why but once opon a time you explained xrp for those of us to be able to understand..... This new video has nothing to do with xrp! After all the things that have happened since you've been "gone" with ripple etc and this is the first video you put out??????! So... the money helps check off step two "Safety". 15:15 Let's say you have a roof over your head and a financial buffer... I'm working toward that with crypto. I understand there is much more work to be done but for most people money is part of that triangle, as they need it to check off step two. I think my main take away here is, money isn't going to solve your problems, only you can solve your issues and it's going to take real work, not money. I've seen government throw piles of money at an issue and watched the issue get worse, diffidently need to have a solid plan and you better have that plan in motion before the money comes, as a fool and his money are soon parted. Love the content Lewis puts out, thank you Lewis!

Let's start at the bottom Physiological - Requires money to eat, pay for Health insurance, live a healthy lifestyle. Safety - Requires money to build a saving account, pay off debt, pay for a home or apartment to live. Crave belonging - Requires time and energy to build relationships and explore different actives. Working 40+ hours a week at a job PLUS doing chores around the house (grocery shopping, paying bills, lawn work, cleaning, making meals) leaves little time for a social life. Esteem - This requires no money UNLESS you consider that you can't accomplish this goal until you complete the first 2 steps which do require money. Self actualization - ONLY happens if you accomplish all 4 steps. So unless we all want to live on the street and forsake our family responsibilities to our wife and kids, your not going to get here without earning MONEY. Glad this was not financial advice.

I agree a rich person is not always a happy person/ There are hard wired truths to homosapien contentment but as we are governed by deep ancestral dna we react emotionally first then think logically (fight or flight scenario) so as i agree with you i still think given two doors one that has enlightenment and the other that has XRP at $100 I know which door the majority of xrp holders would choose but i applaud the approach.

Dude, no offense, this was kind of a bunch of BS. I understand what you’re trying to convey to everyone, but you’re really overcomplicating it when it really is quite simple. Money is VERY MUCH a big part of retirement. The other part is financial education and financial management. You have those with the volume of money, then you’re physically retired. Sure, you need to be “alive” and you need those attributes in your “secret triangle”, but those are givens LOL. I learned absolutely nothing in your 17 min video.

Great to see you back and hood video, I can take everything you said there on board but even if we have reached all those states one can only retire if you have enough money to do so or have generated enough money to take advantage of passive income. Our world is rigged from start to finish and is getting harder to be able to escape the grips from whoever or whatever is running the show. For me crypto is a way of super charging that potential, I have all the skills and lessons learnt however still waiting for the money but to reach that point I can say I am done. Whilst I may retire in the working sense I woukd still want to give back and dedicate some time to helping others.

Lew, if you don't already, you should hook up with some meditation tradition. Maslow is clearing the ground, but the transformation you briefly mention isn't really on this side of the house. One possibility might be Plum Village but there are many from multiple traditions. Not pitching any ideology on you, follow your intuition, but a thought for consideration.
