May tanong ako tungkol sa akin nagpa check up ko sa opthalmologist advice for operation nakita kasi may macular at hindi pa ako na operahan dahil kailangan ang 150k for operation wala akong sapat na halaga nag iipon pa ako at naghahanap ng halaga and this june nag decide na ako na magpa opera dahil lage ako nakakaramdan ng hapdi pag nainitan at may bilog na itim at may matutulis sa gilid sa bilog na itim at aking ipikit ng matagal mayamaya nawala na ang aking tanong kong magpaopera ako maibalik ba ang aking paningin sa aking right eye? dalawang opthalmologist aking pinuntahan sinabi na kailangan maoperahan iyong unang check up sinabihan ako na 50 50 makakita o hindi makakita ang right eye ko puede ba nag ituloy ang operation

Bernie Chatto Magandang Araw sa iyo! Ang case ko po ay Retinal Detachment, bale napunit po yung likod na bahagi ng mata ko (right eye) sa loob kaya ako nabulag. I'm sorry po if hindi ko masasagot nang direkta ang tanong ninyo kasi hindi naman po ako espesyalista sa mata at magkaiba po ang Macular Degeneration sa Retinal Detachment. Kung ako po ang tatanungin, mas makabubuti pa rin po kung ipapaopera ninyo kasi maaaring gumaling po kayo. Iba iba naman po kasi ang case nating lahat. Ako po, dalawang beses naoperahan last year pero nabulag pa rin po. Iba iba po ang kondisyon nating lahat. Yung akin po, malala na ang pagkapunit kaya hindi na naagapan kahit inopera pa ng 2 beses. Itaas po natin sa Panginoon through prayers. Siya po ang may control sa lahat. God bless you po and stay safe.

ganon din po ako isa lang po ang nakakakita bulag din po kanan mata ko mahirap pero sobrang nagpapasalamat pa din ako nakakakita ako at dumaan din po ako sa sobrang dipress ako pero nanalig po talaga ako dios hindi niya tayo pababayaan na lubusan tayong hindi na makakita at mas may marami pang higit na may kapandanan higit sa atin atleast nakakakita pa po tayo thanks so much God...thanks po

@@berniechatto7029 i was diagnosed with retinal detachmet with my left eye in 2017, got operated and restored my normal.eysight but after 2 yeaRs the same left eye nagka macular hole. Ive got operated again but the hole did not heal,. after a year i went for a check up with my retina doctor. Hole was not there anymore , it healed gradually, thanks God. my vision was restored pero malabo nga lang. My right eye is very normal. Praying to God that He wud keep.my right eye normal and healthy. For you please go to the retina doctor. Mabubulag po kayo kau eventually, weeks or months pwedeng mag shutdown ang iyong mata

Yes it's so sad at nakkaiiyak Mam for what was happened to you & mine!. Anyway, thank you for sharing!. Tulad mo rin ako that my right Eye is BULAG na since 2020 after 3 major surgery due to Diaberic Retinopathy. Sa ngayon my left Eye is still under medication due to Cataract & Glaucoma, lumalabo na rin. Also, I'm a Survuvor of Multi-Organ Failure. Sana our life testimonies serve as a lesson and awareness to everyone to prevent na huwag ng mangyari sa kanila of what was happened to us. Salamat sa Dios at we are still Alive. So, keep on sharing because God has great plan for us. Jer.29:11. So, laban lang habang may Hininga Never Quit , Never Surrender!. God bless.

Mahirap po tlaga magka problema sa mata gnyan din case ko po retinopathy need ko maoperahan dapat christmas pero hind po tinuloy kc 50/50 din sbi ng doctor ko but natakot ako ng sbihin nyang worse eh bka mabulag din ako kya hind k0 na pinagalaw still the Lord is good all the time laban lng im doing low carb or keto in 7 mos kc un left eye ko nung una nag black un tingin ko sa gitna my punit din na try ko na rin mag pa laser pero prang lalo lng lumabo as of now nkkakita pa rin nman blurred lng my diabetes po ako pero im still singing and using my voice to praise and glorify Him who are worthy of praise .

Sabi ko nga, Siya naman ang nagkaloob ng mga mata at paningin sakin from the beginning kaya ipinapaubaya ko na sa Kanya ang lahat. Lots of hugs to you. I developed a retinal hole on my left eye. We did laser on it already and Im praying no other holes will develop. But I have many floaters already.

God bless po. Ramdam ko po kayo. Kasi po nagkaproblema din po ako sa mata this april 12 lng po. Nagising na lng ako sobrang sakit ng kaliwang mata ko. Nagpa check up po ako at ang sabi ng doctor na glaucoma po. Nakakadipres po talaga. Kasi blured nlng po nakikita ko. At ngayon every week po nasa hospital po ako. 2times na po ako na lazer. Pero parang pabalik balik lng po yung sakit kasi tumataas pressure ng mata ko. Sobrang dami pong pagsubok tayo ngayon. Pero salamat pa rin po at di pa rin nawawala Faith nyo sa Panginoon. Sama ko po kayo sa prayer ko. Always guide at ingatan kayo ng Panginoon.

Nakakarelate ako sa iyo. I am 72 yo at sa loob ng 55 yrs nearsighted na ako or myopic, makapal salamin ko lagi ako pinupuna sa taas ng grado ng mata ko jan sa Pinas or sa America. 2021 naoperahan ako sa cataract at Kaiser Permanente where I work at sa awa ng Dios success ang surgery at naging farsighted ako. Sabi ng Doctor ko close to 20/20 ang vision ko. Napakahirap ang nearsighted sana maunawaan ng tao na di gawang biro ang malabo ang mata. May awa ang Dios hija ingatan mo lang sarili mo may awa ang Dios.

I also underwent to 4x retinal detachment surgery pero i was rush again for 5th operation. Yung 4 operation they used gas method. Bawal sa hieghts, and fast driving. Kaya na trigger yung detachment. Kaya i needed to undergo to 5th, they used silicon gas method.. thanks God. My eyes is saved.laser method is 1 of cause of retinal detachment.. sayang po sana dito kayo sa Japan nagpa opera... so sad po.

Roselin Jacaban Natutuwa po akong malaman na may mga gumagaling din pala sa Retinal Detachment. Sa totoo lang, kahit na sinabihan nako ng surgeon ko na wala na pag asang makakita ako ulet, hindi ako nawawalan ng pag asa. If may pagkakataon at may pera, gusto ko ulet ipa opera ulet mata ko sa ibang bansa (sa Japan, USA or Singapore) kaya I keep myself healthy sa ngayon para pag dumating ang time na yun, mas maganda ang healing ko. I give it all to God Almighty. Siya lang ang makakapagsabi talaga kung muli akong makakakita sa right eye ko. Ako naman 800 sa right..at 450 sa left pero awa ng Dios ok nmn pag manalamin ako..the same time im taking eyeberry vitamin and using at the same time ionspec eyeglass..sana hindi lumala ang eyeproblem ko.. Thanks for sharing sis

thank you for sharing same here but i don't have high myopia and retinopathy as per my doctor got it from my trauma! i even questioned god why this was happened to me also i wanna die just because of this situation! but later on i cope up with this with the help of the lord din i started to get back with my life slowly i had a depression and anxiety! :( i still have silicon oil in my eye and waiting for my 2nd surgery. i'm pwd now aslo.

Tuloy lang ang buhay. Sabi Doctor ko, hindi daw nya tatanggalin silicon oil para hindi tuluyang lumubog at pumikit yung blind eye ko unless magkaroon na ng infection saka nya tatanggalin. Ako ay 27 years old nagka retina detachment sa kadahilanang nasapak yung kaliwang mata. Nag undego ako sa Pars Plana Verictomy nung Dec 18 2023. sa ngayon may vision is medyo okay kesa sa dati pero di pa fully healed. sana makakuta pa sa kaliwang mata ko.

Ganun din ang lift eye ko retinal detachment..but thanks God kasi kahit papaano nakakakita parin sya ..naapektuhan din yun sa right eye ko pero nilaser LNG sya..tumaas nga LNG ang grado ng mata ko..but thanks God kasi ok na.

Depression is real Sir Reynald. It is a valid feeling to be sad, worried and depressed but DO NOT let it consume you. We must move forward no matter what. I am now a PWD but despite of all the challenges in my every day life specially at work... I keep on moving forward.

same 2020 ng mabulag ng kanan mata ko because of may tumor sa ulo. during pandemic ng magkasakit ako that time ang hirap magpascheduele sa hospital. until that time na kinain ng tumor yung ugat sa mata ko. masakit mahirap pero need to accept & be thankfull meron pa rin kaliwang mata.

You are so blessed at gumaling ka Sis. My surgeons are great din kaya lang it is the anatomy of my eye na rin siguro that prevented me from healing completely. Though it hurts, 😔 I have to move forward.

i also undergone retinal detachment surgery 22 years ago, ang cause daw as what my doctor said was not wearing an eye glass when iwas 25 year old( i'm 71 year old na ngaun) i am a musician (my profession) reading music notes on stage that was not well lighted was one of the reason why my retina eventually detach..that was what my British doctor said, and he said everytime i read small letters or music notes my retina(my right side) well expand until it was detach like a wall paper.. the symptom, I saw black line in the corner of my right eye for a few days i even treated it with an eye drops until one day that black line became red.. so I went to a doctor right away, i visited 3 ophthalmologist and their finding was detach retina.. that afternoon i book a flight to manila for surgery, but my doctor said no you can't go because the moment you arrive in manila you will lost your right eye sight.. so that night i undergone the surgery, iwas still lucky because while i was still at the operating table my right eye collapsed,, thnks god now i live a normal life and still play tennis..and by the way i leave my profession.. but still i play piano at church during Sundays a way of serving the lord till the end... god bless us all..

My case may not be so favourable as I've gone blind on my right eye, it is not always the case for the rest of us. There is still hope and what's important is that we move forward no matter what. Salamt po sa sharing .yung case ko po retina problem naagapn ko .Sabi ng doctor manipis ang retina ko nilaser both eyes itong April lang .nakuha ko sya dahil matass ang Grado ko 900 .tpos po yung sa kapatid ngyon na recital detachment na .Pero ooperahapo sya .dahin chance pa maibalik ...ang ginagawa ko deretso follow up para maiwasan mapunit ang retina ko .

God is with you,,,i am diabetic at age 30s ,,,im 59yo now,,,nearsighted din ako nag eyeglasses since high school,,,, Now i found this Nano eye spec glasses 2019,,,,,i used it after few months i noticed i dont need my regular eyeglasses ,,,after 1 year i can read signboard ng jeep,,,,nababasa ko na ang maliit letters sa cp at laptop .. Positive gumagana sya positive umaayos mata ko,,,, From 2019 untill now hindi ko na ginagamit eyeglasses ko ,,,ito na lang Nano eye spec,,,,nawala din mga floaters at iba pang disturbance ,, I wish makatulong sa mga may eye problem ...May 26,2022...

Aq po din this 1st weekng june 2023 lng😭sobrang sakit palage ng ulo ko. Tapos nagising nlng aq. Akala ko my puwing lng sa mata ko. Yun pla naputol na daw ugat sa mata ko.. Right eye. Liwanag nlng nakikita ko..hndi aq makapag pacheckup ulit. Dahil wala kming pera😭😭sobrang hirap tanggapin.sabi pa ng doctor. Retinopathy kidney syndrome😭😭😭

Pwde naman yan esurgery ileser lang yong butas

Ate ask ko lang ilang days or weeks bago ka nag pa opera kasi may retinal detachment din ako pero 3 days palang next week mag papa schedule nako for operation kasi mag week end bukas and monday pa resume ng ophthalmology. Ok lang kaya yon?

Sorry sa late reply Sir. Bale umabot ng 2 weeks bago ako nag undergo ng Vitrectomy Surgery. Kasi yung first week ni-laser muna ng doctor baka kaya pang agapan ng laser pero wala din.

Can relate blind na rin ang left eye ko due to glaucoma yun right eye medyo malabo na.mahirap pero thankful pa rin marami health issues praying na wag totally mawala ang paningin.

@@crazymoney1721 Dati may eye prob na ako 2007 nag treatment due to cervical cancer yun chemo meds naka affect unti unti tumaas ang eye pressure kaya nabulag na left eye yun right eye malabo na rin still thankful cancer survivor always praying for God's mercy

@@crazymoney1721 ang normal na eye pressure 12 to 21 dati umabot ako ng 35 2008nag start lumabo nag end stage yun left eye 2014 sa checkup tuloy pa rin yun mataas na pressure kahit bulag na yun left na advice mag take ng omega 3 and b complex para sa maliliit na ugat lalo na sa mata avoid stress control blood pressure din

Na urgent surgery ako sa retinal detachment nuong Jan 9 2023 s health served ni Dr Adriano a very good doctor nilagyan nya ng silicon oil n Hanggang ngayon nkalagay p rin a mata ko at dp masyado Malinaw pero unti unti sya and I hope that continue na ma cure nuong inopera nilagyan ng contact lense 300 ang grado and Yung kanan side ko naggamitan kp ng contact lense n grade at -19.00 I am now 64yrs old

Matagal na din po akong indi naka pa check kasi po walang pera, tanong ko lang pwede po ba na ipatangal ko nalang ang right eye ko? Hello KAHEL GAMING! Magandang araw sayo! Regarding your question, "Pwede po ba na ipatanggal ko na lang right eye ko?" Pasensya kana, I am not a doctor kaya hindi ko alam kung ano ang mas makabubuti sayo o kung pwede bang tanggalin na lang yung right eye mo. Ang alam ko kasi (based on my own research) hindi basta basta inaalis ang mata (yung eyeball) unless may kumakalat na infection na pwede makadamage sa ibang parte ng katawan. Yung sa case ko, bulag na yung right eye ko pero dahil nilagyan ng silicone oil noong huli akong naoperahan last year, sabi ng doctor ko..hindi daw tuluyang pipikit at lulubog yung mata ko as compared sa walang silicone oil kaya hindi na niya nirecommend na tanggalin. Iba iba rin kasi ang mga treatment procedure for retinal detachment, depende sa lala ng condition. Kaya the best na maaadvise ko sayo, consult ka ulet sa Opthalmologist mo. Thank you and stay safe. Hello, good day! Bago ako magka RD sa right eye, may floaters nako mga 2 months before ako inoperahan at tuluyang nabulag. Konti lang sa umpisa tapos dumami ng dumami. Yung good eye ko ay may floaters na din.

Me , my left eye has macular degeneration or nagkaroon nang leak at yong leak ay ginagapang na yong aking retina . Ang retina is at the back of your eye .Sabi ng opthalmologist I will be blind . I was diagnosed last year of 2021 . The treatment , the doctor injected Lucentis to my left eye to stop the spread of leakage . The injection is once a month . Until now my eye is under treatment .

Praise God mam kasi ok naman pala ang mata mo according sa doctor. Based po sa sinabi sakin ng doctor ko at sa mga research ko na rin, habang nagkakaedad po ang tao normal lang po na nagkakaroon ng floaters sa mata kasi yung parang gel na liquid sa loob ng mata natin lumalabnaw paglipas ng panahon. Kaya alagaan nyo lang po ng check up, at least 2 times a year para po nasisilip yung loob ng mata lalo na yung condition ng retina. At syempre mam ituloy nyo lang po yung pag take ng vitamins at eye drops.

Ung anak ko ngayon may retinal pheripheral detachment ata term only 4yrs old now.. Ned surgery sabi ng doctor.. huhuhu
