Great work mate

A heavy duty would be great but i would need a lock cover so nobody could break the lock off. Your current unit which i have is good instead of rope, but a good security device to lock up gates along a roadside would be good

Great lock, poss put a few groves on the bar to have more grip on the round bar gate intead of a flat onto a roubd so to speak, 👍

At the start you said you needed to pull on both sides if the chain to open it and then later in the video you open it one handed by pulling on one side of the chain? Nice product

Didn't you say that it was a security feature in that animals won't be able to open it because it has to be opened from both sides? Have you tested how much force it would take to open it from pushing the lever up?

Just curious if u screw out the 17 ml bolt will the gate open

That’s a great unit Declan . Any man with gates on a pasture filed swinging o to a road should invest . Would you need heavy duty if it is the chain that is doing the work really . Wrap The chain around the gate bar before continuing on to locking hasp ??

Yes thats of course true. Im not saying its going to hold up to that but like any security device its ads a layer of security to slow them down. Also an angle grinder is very loud, I would opt for a bolt cutters 😂😂 just personal preference!
