I pulled a Gold Eddie in a retail box 3/10 in SoCal - people in OC are sleeping on Retail Blasters of Select

I just bought a blaster at the card store, every single card in the box says prism on the back even though they are not actually a parallel of any Sort , anyone else see this ?

Hello! Recently found a couple of your videos after getting back into card collecting. So far I’ve had good luck with the blasters. I haven’t bought a hobby box so just finding blasters. The two biggest pulls I got was a auto Santos Escobar, good flash, 2 out of 5 and a Tiger striped Nikkita Lyons. From what it sounds like, the blasters seem to be better so far.

Loved the video! Was looking forward to this comparison vid. You nailed it! Both are so cool with retail having is exclusive rares but I think hobby boxes are much more worth it! I pulled a Molly Holly Gold /10 auto, first time opening a hobby box! Will definitely be buying another!!! Lol

Got my first 3 blasters from Target and pulled a Kiana James Gold Flash auto 3/5.

because all those base cards are the Retail RWB prism, mezzanines are gray like hobby base cards

No it doesn't!! base card is the first card in the set of that card not the 15 others that match it brother!!! The base card doesn't have prizm on it at all!!!

If you spend the same amount on retail compared to the hobby which do you think will carry more value on average?

Skipped on retail but ROI looked nice. If i was going to spend $90-120 might as well work towards another hobby.

no. its maybe 10-20 for now. blasters barely coming out. it will be a 5-10 card at the most later on.
