Resurrecting Another CHEAP, Abandoned ATV - 2001 Honda TRX250EX Project (Will It Run?)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Chase and I found yet another screamin deal in town. Can you believe this thing sat in a Dodge Van under a tarp for over 10 years?
After pulling out of what probably would've been its final resting place, we get it in the garage, inflat the tires, check the oil (engine/differential), inspect the air filter, clean the carb/tank/fuel lines, and much more. First ride was a success! This thing is a blast.
Can't wait to get it cleaned up and shining like new. Stay tuned for episode two once its all back together, we'll get the oil changed, install new parts/accessories. Leave a like if you enjoyed, comment what videos you'd like to see, and subscribe for more projects and restorations like this.

Just bought one of these, going to do stage0 on it then rip around the place. After this false spring, with the next snow its driftin' time. I'm more into dual sport motorcycles, but with this now my kids can come with.

I feel that. Just picked up a Suzuki Katana for cheap. Bikes are a blast but much prefer the 400EX for taking my nephew around the yard. Can’t beat these Hondas.

Hi, from your video the carburetor had two rubber tubes 1. from the bottom of the carburetor. 2. on the side of the carburetor. Where do they connect? I understand that 2. the lower tube returns excess fuel to the fuel tank through the cap at the top? and 1. the tube connecting to the vacuum in front of the carburetor, or where?

I just picked up a 2006 Honda trx250ex for $400 not running was told needed a new top end but the engine looks clean inside there was no oil was able to see shiny metal. My first diagnosis was neutral light not coming on when turn key to on got a reverse light on though, then I saw that the neutral fuse box assembly was missing and hot wired together. I just ordered a new part for 50$ online I’m wondering if that is the only problem hopefully.

@@backcountrybuilds thanks 🙏 my part comes Friday. I also flipped an old 80$ phone for a predator engine go kart which I got running and traded for non running 90cc Baja atv which I then flipped for $800 but I’m more excited about this Honda project I just got my hands on. You live in Alaska?
