ある I mean psycho pomp is more likely to not cause a huge impact because it’s trading three damage for only a 1/1 living, the animated dragon could be removed and Alex is scary, not sure though

@@Howaruma I think it depends on your read on the opponents hand. There weren't any taunts on the board for the 1/1, but there were 2 taunts after Alexstraza was played...there shouldn't be many cards that deal 3 damage to face in that situation, so maybe the 1/1 didn't matter. Calculating lethal for both sides, with consideration for Soulfire off of Cobalt Spellkin probably would have helped. And of course, Alexstraza RNG and Catrina RNG would change all the calculations...

As soon as Cobalt Spellkin came down I knew how this game was gonna end.

It's nice to see Trump having this much fun. After trying several decks he created and failing miserably, it is comforting to see him try a deck created by someone who really knows how to create decks, and succeed.

Is this still good with the albatross costing 4 mana now, or would you replace it with something?

You don't think albatross is good into demon Hunter? I personally thought it was a pretty good way to mess up outcasts and screw them over if they go into topdeck mode

Nothing can replace soul mirror. Maybe Plague of Death but if you already have those nothing compares to the flexibility and utility of soul mirror

That zixor deck was really cool. I was thinking to make one but I feel like I'd just get outvalued by 2x renew + 2x mass ressurect + 2x plague of death + galakrond priest hero power + soul mirror. So making it the quest variant was really smart. That said khartut defender is just such a scared card he's obviously playing to beat aggro that doesn't synergize with the rest of the deck.

New to hearthstone and trying to learn the game at an aggressive pace, could someone briefly explain why the first opponent seemed to concede so early without Trump having enough face damage on the board?

I'd replace bone wraith with zuldrak ritualist. Anti res priest, and also means psychopomp's reborn effect isn't wasted.

I'm really shocked he didn't even consider soul mirror when the warlock had 2 bad luck albatrosses on the board and (edit) presumably had zephrys in it

Warlock is almost never singleton. They just play Zephrys and Alex in decks with multiple 2-of's, since they draw so many cards they can activate them anyway.

Have you played Hearthstone before? Why would that Galakrond Warlock be singleton? There was no evidence of that at all.

That ending was hilarious

Really like Psyche Split in this deck. Drop it on Vargoth, which then casts the spell twice, so you end up with 4 Vargoths, 2 at 3-8 and 2 at 5-10. Real fun flooding the board that way

10:00 this wasn't 50/50 Albatros/Bone Wraith it was 33/67 because two Bone Wraiths died.

Is this playable after albatross went to 4 mana?

in the last game the warlock actually couldnt nether breath then zeph he got the nether breath from veiled warshiper draw 3

Concerning the Zephrys turn of the Warlock: I think the Neatherbreath was drawn after Zephrys so the line to get lethal off Zephrys was not there. But if the warlock swings face with the axe he would still have pyroblast lethal on the next turn, so it was a dummy move nonetheless.

Zephyrs doesn’t see the cards in your hand or the opponents, just what’s on the board. So if he played the breath first it would have worked I believe so.

@@shmems96 But the Neatherbreath was drawn from the worshipper after Zephrys had been played. And even if the opponen draws first and then plays Neatherbreath + Zephrys they would be down to 2 mana

John Dongle Quest may be a “tiny” bit worse. You’ll lose those moments of getting removal minions like Natalie or value generators like Skeletal Dragon which can be noticeable, but Quest would not be a stupid alternate. You’ll get good and somewhat more reliable board presence. I imagine it really just varies from match up to match up and “on average” Galak is slightly higher.

I wanted to amend this and TL;DR this. Galakrond (once you use it) gets better than quest the longer the game goes. That said, quest is still doable imo, but you have to have a board so that’s the rub. Hence why you may see quest in Ressurect Priest. Possibly the best space on average for it.

Mush Don’t get me wrong I hate them too. Climbed to legend this season with Highlander Mage and dreaded seeing them. Winning and losing was a coin flip that was decided by their draw. I’m just amazed how fast it went from cool and new to universally hated lol

Petar Petar maybe Shadow Word: Ruin for Soul Mirror and Non-legendary for Catrina maybe Scrapyard Colossus (10 cost 7/7 taunt death rattle get another 7/7; Rare from Ashes of Outland) or Batterhead (8 cost 3/12 rush, can attack again if it kills a minion, Epic from Rise of Shadows)
