    i feel like long term tendon ligament and joint damage build up is the reason why many of the arm wrestling vets are falling and the new ones and taking their place

    @@Guwahati_rocks 90% of armwrestling training or training in most other strength demonstrating sports is depended on training with big volume or being under huge stress for shortest amount of period which is good for increasing the raw strength of muscles but it doesnt train the joints and ligaments that hold these strongly trained muscles which makes for weak long term strength. What a lot are missing nowdays is doing a lot repetetions(longer periods of time) of a easier variation . this practice is the only way(i believe) which actually strengthens the base of msucle which is joins tendons and ligaments to prevent build of muscle damage when put under stress
