Restricted Airspace LAANC - through FAA Process

Restricted Airspace LAANC - through FAA Process, this is the process from start to finish to get a LAANC through the FAA website.
Very seamless process. However you have to be very through and patient. The FAA is your ally as long as you fly your drone as if your would when you were studying for your part 107 you're fine. They are there to help and educate.
It's a long video - no fancy intro and straight to the point and takes about 15 - 20 minutes for the first half. Remember once you have FAA approval you have to do the DJI Unlock, which can be found below. Otherwise your drone won't take off

Great video!
There may be two different sets of reasons for a no fly zone 1. Controlled airspace, which in most cases you can use LAANC to fly within the grid limit zone. 2. You also may run into a DJI lock zone, which may be added restrictions base on old data (none ATC, none Control Tower Airports).
Do you need a part 107 license to fly in a restricted airspace? I just want to fly my plane for fun at a local school field but there’s an air force base 5 miles away and laanc doesn’t t allow authorization.

Tricky question.. the laws are changing all the time and sometimes overnight- The pilot institute could answer that directly since they post weekly updates on drones to the FAA - they also will answer any question regarding regulations and rules..just make sure to get your trust certificate if you’re flying recreationally m.facebook.com/groups/part107study/?ref=share&mibextid=S66gvF
