@@kdomster9141 I completely disagree. Recovery has already begun. I love it.

@@johnkilty5091 "Recovery" ? Why was it needed , if you did not destroy the entire eco system and river bottom you would not need "Recovery". It was done in an irresponsible way and river was completely destroyed. Other fish , other than Salmon had a river and now it is all wiped out.

@@kdomster9141 The lakes were sick and the dams had lived out their lives. The cost of the retrofit was not worth the cost. Not my math. The river is far from destroyed. The project had decades of planning. I am very happy it has moved forward.

I'm curious when folks will be able to visit the Wards Canyon reach of the Klamath. That section was de-watered by the hydro-electric project for years, and I'd really like to see it in its natural form.

Question, are there any compisations on property value losses for the people that live along the shorelines?

The lakes had been destroying the water quality for decades. Restoration has begun. I love it. I know it is hard to believe. Fun part is. You can go look and see with your own eyes. This is a fantastic project.

Aw come on, complete destruction? It seems like you want to put out there a narrative that's not quite based on what's really happening. Get up there and see that the river is clearing up, there's fish in the river, the tributaries are healthy, it's all on track in a really really good way so far. Let's please stick with the science and what we know to be true.
