Have you looked into the Rayner Texas Courthouse? It was the first county seat in Stonewall County. Producers from Hollywood wanted to film the movie The Giant there. It’s still standing and needs help. WE Rayner started Rayner Texas then when Aspermont was voted the county seat. Rayner mover his cattle company and founded Monterey Texas and Lubbock Texas.
