You can confidently wash computer components without any risk of damage if the battery and all battery components are unplugged. Make sure they are 100% dry after you finish and then you can plug the power components back in. This is legit. Great restoration work. I have washed many Motherboards myself without any issues.

You are blind if you can't figure out that these videos are just filmed in reverse order... First they film good working laptop/pc or whatever then they destroy it and doing "restoration"...

You are very naive, you don't need to be an expert in computer repair to know that it is practically impossible for a computer in such a disastrous state to work again. Furthermore, it is suspicious that someone repairs a laptop with such delicate electronic components in the backyard of their house ❌🤣

Is it just me or does it look like somebody just poured a bucket of muddy water all over it because nothing around that area was covered in that except that laptop and even if it was left for that long, there’ll be lots of corrosion underneath the chipsets and of ram causing short circuits, and you can get away pretty easily by pouring muddy water all over laptop power like that, and then washing the parts off of water turning it on

You should upgrade to SSD (copy all data from old hard drive) as that hard drive you restore might be corrupted. And upgrade it to Windows 10 or 11 and the RAM. Replace the battery as well.

O meu, de 2015, está parecendo o da restauração, mas funciona usando uma tela de tv ou outro monitor, porque de tanto abrir e fechar, quebrou uma das dobradiças e desconectou algum fio.
