Restoring a Vintage Rega Insect Chemical Sprayer - Brass, Copper, Wood combo !

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Rega insect/pesticide pump sprayers have long been a staple in Australian households. Having established themselves in the 1920s, the company has garnered a reputation for manufacturing top-notch spraying equipment. Even today, they continue to produce professional-grade sprayers for the Pest Control Industry.
One of the key features of Rega sprayers is their emphasis on serviceability and repairability, ensuring they can endure a lifetime when properly maintained. The exquisite combination of brass, copper, and wood in their design adds a touch of elegance. We couldn't be more delighted with the remarkable outcome of this endeavor.

    Hi mate thanks for watching and subscribing. As for the sticker, I just tried to replicate the original on a computer app , printed on paper and glued it on. I didn't go too fancy with it 🤭 To be honest I don't know how the original one lasted that long seeing it's also just a glued on paper sticker. 👍👩‍🔧

    G'day mate I've got 3 of them rega bug sprayers and also a darlton blow torch and only question is where do you get the rubber for the plunger? That's the only thing I need to finish off my sprayers and blow torch

    Hi mate, I could not find the right size either but luckily found some which were slightly bigger and cut them out to fit. My mate @austeration did one too and he fabricated the leather plunger. Check out his video - might give you the idea if you want to make your own. kzread.info/dash/bejne/eWukrqSph6TRepM.html

    Hi brilliant restoration. I watch all these restorations and wonder where do you get all the new seals, commits, rubbers,and all the other new parts for such old things?

  • @LittleRestorers

    @LittleRestorers

    Жыл бұрын

    Thanks for watching. It's always tricky to find parts for old stuff. Often you need to do a lot of research and trips to hardware stores to find something that would fit. I spend 2 weeks to find 4 screws for the jaws of the last vice I restored 😅
