I restore these when Im bored and sell them for $75. Included a lid polish, belt, detail and a stylus. Make like $40 or 50, but usually bundle with lower end stereo amp and speakers for $200. I bulk purchase AT3600's from China and usually add a few of these PMount styli as well because they were ubiquitous in the 80s. Have 3 of these ready to go now.

Great video as usual I'm a long time subscriber. I have a couple of decent turntables thorens pioneer etc . After watching this video I'm starting to think I'm wasting my time and should just get a p-mount. Perfect every time

There are some great P-mount tables out there, but a lot of cheap ones as well.

Your merhod of valuation of TT is really genuine. This is not possible for us as we can not assess the actual price.

I'm going to buy a 10 grand table because I want one that does this, and sounds like this, and makes my Pink Floyd sound better 😀. Which one do you recommend TT Guy ?

Shouldn't that app RPM readout remain in a stable orientation if it's measuring correctly?

My JVC TT QL A5 which spins for 5 minutes and then stops .This is lying idle since last 4 years and the main culprit is the IC number 1 which is not available .Toll today no technician could remove the platter by any method .Tapping by screwdriver like you did or heating or anynother method,it has not come out of the crntral spindle. The IC number 1 is VC 5021,it is not available. One technician attaches multimeter probes to two pins of this IC then the TT runs for longer period but at more than 78 rpm speed.
