The screens tend to be around $200, back glass is usually $15 or less, batteries are less than $20 and the wireless coil is $7 or less. Find one cheap enough and you can make a decent profit, it's mostly the screen that eats the cost.

Man, the Galaxy Note 9... I still have mines and still use it since I think, it was the best Samsung device I've bought. It's also easy to repair too since it's Phillips.
Every time I get the notification for a Hugh video I instantly think.....where the hell did that week go......🙈🙊🙉
Did you realize he built a whole new Note9, except he had to dismantle 1 and he didn't buy a new logic board and camera and charging port.

Newer Samsung phones have programmed parts as well sadly. All of them are going the wrong way for repairability
@anthonyemerson3756
3 жыл бұрын
@@lucascb8446 only the fingerprint on the a models are paired, this is because the fingerprint data is stored on the reader, so swapping them would allow the new sensor to use preprogrammed fingerprints. So someone could make a fake reader that allows them unlock the phone without the passcode or the owners fingerprint.
@auqanova
3 жыл бұрын
@@anthonyemerson3756 that sounds like a problem that could easily be solved by storing the fingerprint on the actual storage, and then you dont need pairing anymore. sure its already miles better than apple, but there is no reason to make the part require a pairing.
