Restoring a Bicron Surveyor M

Ғылым және технология

In this video, I try to restore a Bicron Surveyor M-X Scaler to its former glory.
One thing that I did not do was change the yellowed meter scale. Maybe I will do that in the future.
At 1:21 I meant to write "damaged", but the "s" was too close to the "d" on my keyboard.
Obligatory kudos:

What load did you use on your volt ohm to measure the highvoltage? I'm aware most manufacturers recommend a load of 1000Mohm, as not to harm the power supply. Is that the route you took?

I use a 90 MOhm voltage divider in series with a 10 MOhm multimeter. In my experience it is usually okay, but 1 GOhm would of course be better :)
