Across the UK, millions of pounds worth of neglected treasures lie buried and forgotten in the homes of Britain. From rusty motorbikes to tarnished teapots, ancient tractors to antique furniture, what looks like junk can actually be worth a pretty penny.
Find It Fix It Flog It follows presenters Henry Cole and Simon O’Brien as they journey across the UK, meeting property owners and throwing open their properties to explore the unique items lost inside.
In a series full of light-hearted banter and friendly competition, Henry and Simon dig out the very best finds and using some creative thinking and a lot of elbow grease, fix them up in order to turn a profit for their owners.
Upcycling genious Simon and his restorer Gemma love turning everyday objects in to fantastic
furniture, while for Henry and his mechanic, Guy, its all about restoring retro relics and vintage classics. From transforming a galvanised metal cold water storage tank into a modern coffee table, to turning a 4ft whiskey barrel into a funky and contempory seat, our “sultans of scrap”will show you just how easy it can be to breathe new life into old or unwanted items.

It's model 16m, the G3 was the matchless version.

..And the War Department bikes were all Matchless..
Nice looking Model 16 and sounds great. I have a Model 8 myself, they're lovely bikes.
So sad, it's all about the money, let's hope it finds a home with someone that treasures it and its historical value from an era when Britain actually had an industrial base and skills, alongside industrial and design knowledge.
Luvely jubbly!. Nice old bike!. Nuff said!. 🙂
I've got a AJS 14 CSR with interesting history it's quirky with what others did to it before I got it for instance a Honda front from which one I've no idea 😊
16MS! G3 is the. Matchless
Do not know how a battery would affect a magneto equiped bike. Former owner of G2cs and G11csr

Unless it had been converted to coil ignition.
Used to buy these 350s & matchless 350/500s, for max' £5.00 (five quid) back in the 60s, on the farm; take all the stuff off you could, including exhaust; discard and then belt them around the fields, even jump them. Wish I had one now.
It didn't need a battery to run.
Hey Henry , I'm lucky I have a 49 Matchless G80 500 rigid, it's awesome , there's a short video on my channel .
You’ve under sold it boys .......
Well someone got a bargain as that is quite a rare model, note the larger tank badges and biscuit tin front brake. 1954 ish one year only lovely Jampot model. Someone didn't do their homework!
Give Simon a motor bike he would make it into a lamp or a table 😅
The 500 had a weak bottom end. I ran one as only transport for ten years
Hey I wanna ride around a great big seemingly abandoned warehouse and pick up a well placed freebie bike and sell it for a big profit...
Not a bad machine - wrong front mudguard and fork sliders for the year (its a '54), wrong tank badges etc but nice - at £2900 it's a Model 16MS snip . . . "All" post war models were not necessarily Black . . . A chrome tank was available with Red or Black panels depending on badging . .
Some touch-up paint, installing a battery, topping off the oil, is not "Restoring"
getting all bent out of shape about batteries, it's magneto ignition, kick and go.

Not a G3. Dump Henry and put Sam in top job.
