The website promoted the "Moran Method" of Dog Training and featured helpful insights on canine learning and behaviour and allowed those who did not have thousands of dollars to spend on Paul's private sessions, to have access via video.
These training videos were specifically designed teach the regular "Pet Parent" to make teaching your puppy easy, fun, balanced and highly rewarding. Oh, and while we are at it. YES, Canis familiaris (the Domestic Dog), is a direct descendent of the now extinct Canis lupus (Grey Wolf). AND YES... a wolf "PACK or FAMILY" exists. The lead male and lead female in those packs. and ARE referred to as "Alpha's." There ARE "Beta's & Omega's" too. But the breeding pair (Alpha male and female) are the pack parents and will assert dominance over the offspring by virtue of being the parents. It happens all the time, for a multitude of reasons, with varying degrees of force being used.
So, call it what you want, "Parental Positioning," "Matriarch/Patriarch affirmation," or "Rank"... Momma and Papa are getting their voice's heard. It is "Social Dominance" ... just like any family. :)
