A gorgeous property. The music was absolutely perfect. I'm stuck in that 1000 year old chapel. It's incredible what our ancestors built with basically their own two hands. We could learn a thing or two from them. Thanks for sharing hopefully the castle is purchased and enjoyed for many years to come.

To be honest, it would be a shame to renovate to much, i am afraid that turning it into a hotel would ruin it

Guy from Ivrea here, this castle is truly a landmark in our small but beautiful backyard, everyone recognises it! Me and many others consider this castle one of the most beautiful and well preserved castles in the area. I remember visiting the inside a few years back on a open doors day, I actually don't know who owned it at that time. The point I want to make is that it is pretty sad that the only way to preserve such old beauties is to make them into sellable private properties, as the public administration doesn't invest in them. So I really hope that whoever is going to buy it will at least turn it into a commercial activity such as a restaurant or similar, so that the local people that always admired it from the outside and why not, people from far away, can continue to access and marvel such beauty.

I don’t believe it’s a good idea, to have public access. It’s not the “house” that makes a home, it’s the love you give it, that makes a home. This castle doesn’t need a business budget, it needs someone to care for it, inside out. And a enormous amount of money. It doesn’t even have proper heating, public water and so on. Just to make it acceptable accessible it’s a fortune in investment.

Fascinating historical property! Enjoyed. Beautiful.

I always wanted to own a castle. I really like this one. A bit of a stretch on my retirement income. Alas, it will not be but I can still dream. Thanks Danilo, always look forward to your Wednesday tours, even if it's Thursday.🥰

This one actually brought tears to my eyes. The history of medieval Savoy is one of my personal interests, so this was a real treat. The area around Turin was the seat of all of Savoy at one time, which was at the height of its power in the 1500s, when Danilo says the castle was so greatly expanded and fortified, which would make sense. Turin is really an underappreciated cultural center and historical city today, and the area that changed hands so many times between France and Italy, called Savoy, is so fascinating. One can only hope that this one sells to someone who will truly appreciate its history and preserve all they can, such as the murals in the chapel. The landscapes around the castle are just breathtaking. I would think someone wanting to establish a luxury hotel/resort/wedding venue would think this ideal. Thank you so much Danilo for bringing us this unusual property and the opportunity to see this amazing castle.

You could argue that the 1500s was actually the worst time for the Piedmont region. The French invaded Italy through this region numerous times in the so-called Italian Wars and actually unseated the House of Savoy until the mid-1500s or so. That's probably why there was so much attention placed on fortifying these strategic places. This is truly an interesting and unusual place, with a lot of original touches still visible.

Ciao Danilo, another stunning property, I love some of the roofs, they are very organic, reminds me of scales on a fish, a very unique look.

This place is ideal for the Italian prince of real estate to store his crown. I say buy it Danilo! 🤴🏼

Astonishing property! Beautiful. I can't imagine how difficult it was to restore though, the access roads even in Montalto Dora let alone going up the hill are tiny!

The castle is an absolute work of architectural brilliance, it's alluring..an epic masterpiece. My favorite seen features the reception area, the dining area, 2 bedrooms all had exquisite fireplaces which are EVERYTHING! I can type all day about this castle, (I would run out of space LOL) so many words, ..thanks Danilo and your associates for presenting this historical treasure set in its picturesque glory, Ciao

The people who restored it should be given an award for conservation. I'm sorry that it must be sold for such a low price. In my opinion, a castle like this should be 10 million dollars. It could be a wonderful business and unequaled in almost anywhere in the world. Incredible!

This place is Awesome! The spaces are palatial, 1 space alone is 1500 sqf.I’ve noticed that many of the spaces have English royalties to them and granted I didn’t find issue with that? I found that I loved it. The fact that it has history to it makes it even more interesting from a stand point, if I bought that property I wouldn’t change anything to it. I love the overall façade it just command’s presence. The trees around the property aren’t as old as the castle itself you’re buying a piece of history it what it boils down to. And that’s a perk of indescribable elegance in its own right! That’s my take on it…..I’ve had dreams of this property but all being positive.

wooooo, amazing castle, and with an amazing view from the tower, this property is beautiful !! and the price is frankly incredible, many yachts are more expensive than this castle, wow, some lucky person who knows this and will surely buy it very happily hehehhe Has anyone ever seen an italian medieval fantasy movie called Desideria and the Ring of the Dragon? Well, when I saw this castle I immediately imagined doing a second and third and fourth part of that movie, the castle has an exact air of ancient fantasy, and the wooded setting, lakes and mountains would be exact for many medieval fantasy movies I hope that the future owner can be happy in this beautiful castle, congratulations Danilo, excellent presentation 😉😉
