I have this same frame I am working with. I know it comes in many different brands, Ozone 500 Canyon Ridge, and mine is a Next PowerClimber. Same frame, different components according to what youre working with. I love the video!

Well done on the rebuild. I personally wouldn't have just painted over the original paint. Sometimes it causes a chemical reaction which leads to paint bubbling and peal. I also wouldn't have used a crowbar. Those front forks coups easily have dented and caused major issues, but otherwise well done.

Que le hechas para que no se salga la pintura, porque el spray se sale y no dura, mejor es pintado al horno.

Wonderful job minus the paint work 😅😝 Got a question please - you know the actual lower frame bush on older mountain bikes, the one just in front of the crank / bottom bracket 3:30 , how do you get that out please? I need to replace mine because there's quite a lot of side to side play there. I've got basic tools and a tidy socket set if it needs to be pressed out...

My friend put this bike together for his son and before I knew it he was done kzread.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L When the son came to put it together he was surprised to see it was already done. All he had to do was take the bike to get air and be on his way. My friend did not have any major problems putting this bike together; small issue was putting one of the brakes on straight; however when the son got home he was able to fix it. The bike rides well gears move correctly; good bike for the price. Wrote review after the son took the bike. Sorry.

I wanted to like this video but I did not enjoy very much. I love this type of bike - childhood memories (I have 2 of them in my collection), but I am not satisfied by the work done for this video. - The fork, even if it was opened and partially serviced, it was not polished properly and was still dirty. The video does not show how the fork was opened. - The frame shock was not serviced... - The wheels were not even touched. Maybe they were washed, I don't know... I think the tires should have been changed and some trueing and tightening of the spokes shown. Maybe some painting. I would remove all the spokes, paint everything clean and rebuild the wheel. - when painting the frame, the original paint was not properly removed... - the headset - the baring races - were not even removed for the painting process and were painted over. - I think the fork should have been painted as well but maybe that is a taste thing... - The rear derailleur is really cheap.... not even Shimano Tourney. Despite the microshift shifters which are nice. - the rear frame was painted gray/silver but the finish of the surface was not great... - during painting, I don't think a clear coat was used - maybe I did not pay attention. - if the fork and rear frame are left with silver/gray colour, the handle bars and seat post should have been chromed or at least as close as possible, not black. - the screw of the handlebars was not restored - still rusty. - the saddle is very low quality, It does not look comfortable or it might bend its rails during use if the rider is larger than 80kg. - even though the threaded cogs were replaced, no service to the wheel hubs was performed. and the new cogs were also used! - the bottom bracket was tightened by hand, no tool was used! - the new V-brakes look very low quality - The cables of the shifters did not seem properly tightened, specially for the front derailleur - which was not properly fit height-wise on the frame - it is actually difficult to properly adjust the front derailleur and nothing was shown! - no lights, no front reflector, no spoke reflectors, no bell! - I don't think the handlebars were removed from the stem during painting. - the travel of the suspension was not demonstrated on the finished bike. - it would have been nice to use a repair stand, especially when demonstrating the rear gear change, but in general, for the entire project. Overall, I would grade this project a 5 out of 10. Nevertheless, I did subscribe to this channel and I hope in the future, the projects will be more interesting and better executed. There is a lot of potential. And even if the quality of the restoration will stay constant, at least, I hope to see more full suspension cheap bikes which will be given a new chance, a new life. For inspiration, I would suggest the channel Comet Restoration: kzread.info. This channel also started with not so good videos and now, some of them are great! Keep on working and I hope you will do great projects in the future! There were some good things in the video - I liked the editing. I think some voice over or some over text would be nice from time to time.

Thank you! The level of restoration depends on skills and resources, which I do not have yet. But one day everything will be. P.S. Sorry for my english, it's Google Translate.

I think he has done much better than many people could not. He has used the resources that he had at home and those that he has been able to afford. I do not agree with your negative criticism because you have only seen the outside and not the work involved in doing a restoration. I congratulate you on your work and I hope you improve a lot and go far, greetings.

Good luck translating this😃. Mate, get over it. Is a show bike? No. It’s a side of the road find cheap bike. I do these a lot and pass them on as they are good for another few years and will make some kid (or yourself) very happy. I see a lot of bikes go to the dump that just need a strip down and service like this. Ignore that bell end. 10 for 10.
