If your wife likes it then it doesn't matter what anyone else says!! I also like it, as well as how you showed different methods of repair. I love the homemade wood and sawdust putty.

When the wife says don't sell it, that's the best seal of approval. I have a couple of chairs that I need to do the same thing to. Great job!

I really like how you are able to restore the individual pieces of wood so that the table can stay as original as possible! I especially appreciate that you did not over restore the table. One can still see that it is an old table with a lot of history, yet at the same time can see that it has been restored. Well done!

I'm no carpenter, but I think they use steam to bend wood into different shapes somehow 🤔. The lengths you went through to save the original wood is insane 😵‍💫. Looks great, I hope it lasts another couple decades. Maybe, another restoration artist will find it again, and test his skills on it 😄.

I like it, it has a very rustic look to it. 👍 Considering the condition it started out in it turned out very well, you've got a new table to prepare food on now. 😁

Style-wise in the US, it would be called a bentwood table. Owing to the two curved round braces at each corner. A good functional piece once again. Narragansett Bay.

First time I ever saw an ottoman being used as a restoration tool. That table now needs beers on it.
