I cannot believe this showed up on my feed. I’ve owned this bass since the 80s. This is very inspiring.
That was an interesting choice of color; however, you did a fantastic job on this restoration. Well done, sir.

@@punkrockengineer3542I used Behr "Tropics gloss" on mine, it came out very much like a seafoam
I had a memphis branded bass identical to that a while back that I fixed up, I can only assume it was manufactured by cort, it worked out great because I happened to have the tuners and bridge from an older squier bronco and a mexican p-bass pickup lying around and they were a direct fit, it was super light and fit in a guitar-sized case which were cool
Wow man that was awesome!!!!! You did a great job, the bass looks beautiful!!❤😊
Nice job mate. The colour is great. Phil from London saying Hi.
My first bass that I got when I was 9 was a white Cort bass identical to this one. I’m in my forties now 😂
Great work man. About to start a "Kay" made in Korea bass I got off of a friend. Looks just like this one. Got a lot of good tips from this video. Much love from Ashland Virginia, USA.
Beautiful work.
You got a good result.

thanks for sharing! that's a beautiful finish. pickups sounded really rumbly and distorted... not sure if that was just on the vid versus how it sounded in person.

Thank alot I think I'm using a guitar amp instead of a bass amp so it created those distorting
que bonito quedó 🩷
That is a really cool color for the body. Cudos how managed to polish it! :)

Used 2 bottle clear coat (lacquer )to cover the entire body and then ,sand the body from 1000 1500 to 2000 "you can you higher grid if you want" to remove all the orange peel .Then just use Carnauba Wax Car Polish
Great rebuild! i would have swapped the bridge with a cheap individual 4 saddle. but other than that Excellent work!
