There getting harder to tell the difference these are banned in a couple of states in my country and classed as replica firearms.

Their is a chance, most air soft guns are thrown in the trash and sent to a junkyard. His chances of finding it IS possible. The fact that it’s rusted gives it away too.

That's an M4A1

For the 1st: This is not an M-16 rifle. It's an M-4 Carbine. For the 2nd: M-4s with this kind of buttstock are not old. For the 3rd: This is a toy. Not a real M-4. For the 4th: M-4s don't disassemble like this. Forthe 5th: Plastic and Aluminum doesn't rust like this, furthermore, Plastic can't rust. For the 6th: An M-4 (or M-16) is not randomly disposed of in a civilian dump like this.

Plastic is not scratched at all! Perfect restoration execution, gun is literally new 😂

Some of the electronics are missing. A friend of mine's kid had the same exact toy. It had a sound effect kit with 3 different sound effects and an l.e.d. in the barrel tip that lit up. Looks like that toy gun had some of those features removed. The empty shell ejector looks the same though. My friend's kid thought that feature was so cool. He lost all of his bullets for it though. Still a pretty cool toy and nice restoration work. Thumbs up to you bud! 😁

I was repairing airsoft guns (more like bb toy guns back in the they, not real airsoft) like 20 years ago as a kid here in Czech Republic for all my friends, those weapons from Vietnamese mall mostly survived max few weeks, but some of them could be easily upgraded to crazy power, so instead of 4 weeks, it was broken in 1 week, but that was ok, we just bought another one, it was ridiculously cheep, like 4-10 dollars, so even kids could buy it and Vietnamese sellers didn't care about age. 😀 I still had one of famous "vietnamese shotguns" back in 2010, it was the most powerfull cheap airsoft gun you could buy in vietnamese mall between cca 2000-2005. kzread.info/dash/bejne/i4ycsZR9cbq_lJM.html (prehistoric video alert)

Looks like an M4. It largely replaced the M16A2. As I watched the video, I realized this is an Airsoft M4. I have the Crosman M4177KT. Multipump .177cal pellet shooter. Gets some 635FPS.

@@driftgodgaming2078 It is what we called a "vietnamese bb gun" like 20 years ago, it was commonly sold in vietnamese malls here in Czech Republic, it was so cheap that even kids could buy it and Vietnamese sellers didn't care about age. It's not a real airsoft, it doesn't have even metal barrel and hop-up system and it worked for max few weeks before something got broken. The fact that he found an example with no broken main parts is extremely unlikely. I remember that most of kids had these weapons for like 5 dollars, when my friend from better family got original Marui airsoft pistol, he was like king with that, it was for like 120 dollars back in the day, you can buy the same Marui spring pistol (it was P228 and you can still buy it) now for 35 dollars and we have like triple salaries than 20 years ago, so it was really expensive back in the day.
