Parabéns amigo. Você é um grande profissional
Viewers be aware most of his repair procedures are not endorsed by Peavey or any reputable trained electronics service technician! I was Peavey authorized service technician...trust me.

hard to imagine that this is a genuine Peavey Amp....looks like a counterfeit!
Good restore👍👍🥰
And once again, of course, after all that effort, reusing the rusted out old screws! Maaaaan!

Nice video sir
Mr. Electricity, please don't spray paint heat-sinks because they're just gonna get hot and smoke, then eventually burn the paint off completely! The cooling fans don't need paint either! Just use a 99% IPA or whatever you have available to clean the components before re-installation. I know parts are hard to get considering the market, inflation, and other problems, but the likelihood of the caps and transistors blowing when they reach normal operating temps may be highly likely. Work smarter, not harder! Don't do more than you have to. Be safe!

Extremely impressive.

Good job 👍👍👍Thank you for sharing. Be safe 🇨🇦
Very nice job 👍👍 thanks 🙏🙏
você não deveria pintar os dissipadores de calor. no entanto, excelente trabalho.
Why is everything so rusty all the time, is it the humidity in your country? Great content, thanks for sharing.
Интересно он замеры проводит, 0ахаха
Gostei 🥰😎
Complimenti.
Oye loquito los disipadores de calor no se pintan. Ellos necesitan sacar el calor naturalmente para eso tienen electroventiladores la pintura es un impedimento en su coheficiente! Torpe.
❤❤❤❤VERY GOOD WORK SWEET
Akin nlng yan.. 😁
That amp is max 1500w Cus of the 10 amp fuse. 10A x 220V is 2200w But with the inefficiency probably more around 1500w

Hi i always enjoy so much your videos if i had to work on these amps I would be scared by their conditions They are in a very bad state I have a comment I am surprised by how small in section are the wires going to the speakers terminals even in these very high power and current amps I would use much bigger wires for speakers outs and also in general for high current paths Ohm's law applies I think it's a case of sane design practice Kind regards gino

Painting aluminum heat sinks fills in the pores of the aluminum and actually makes them less efficient. Same goes for polishing aluminum heat sinks, but polished aluminum looks cool

@@K-Effect hi thanks for the valuable advice I am often surprised how thin are speaker wires inside the amp They could act as a bottle neck for current considering that in high power amps the peak output current can reach high values like 15A or even more And the same for dc power lines going to the output stages This is basic ohm's law

@@gino3286 , the wires are to short to form a kind of resistant. If the wires consist with the thickness of the PCB, then it is enough. If you use wires longer than a certain length, then they need a thickness that match the length and power of the amplifier. Normally 4mm2 will do. This brand is one of the better brands in PA amplifiers, so the content of the amplifier is also quality.

@@DreamsOfTheMind-video Hi ! thank you very much for your kind and valuable advice Actually i have always wondered why PCB traces are so thin ... only 0.2 mm often While i can understand for low current signals for power supply lines and power output lines i would like something thicker The thicker the wires the lower the impedance and the faster the recharge of the power supply big caps By the way i love very much the amp of the video
@DreamsOfTheMind-video

@@gino3286 thank you. Most of the time the traces are made thicker with soldering. Especially the powersuply pcb and the traces of the mosfets how amplify the signal.

Which Cleaner Do you Use Wien removing the Glue from Those Big Capacitors ?
Where do you find this stuff ?.
De onde vc é.
Love your videos! I do smaller restorations myself, i'm not as skilled in repairing audio equipment as you, haha. I get so much inspiration from you! Just wanted to give you a quick comment and a big thanks for your incredible work! Also i want to ask you, what solution do you use for cleaning your boards? Is it a IPA mix? And what liquid do you use to loosen the glue on the capasitors? Thank you so much again!
What kind solder he use? Pls help me to know
Helow sir. What is tha name of the chemical you used in cleaning the PCB board?.
Nice job! I had a Peavey Amp when I was A D.J. 500W a side! You did a very nice job on this!
