@@collectingcars I've wanted one of these Paul Stevens 911s since he started to build them I knew about him long before Magnus Walker and Singer where even a thing. He built a epic orange RS clone back before the internet was actually any good. The original outlaw Porsche for me

Lovely restomod Only gripe I have is how the mirrors are made u can see a bit of window seal at the front of the mirror rather than flush

Beautiful simple body lines, before they bloat out the later models as so many manuf tend to do.

Do I spot an SKX007? 🧐 That aside: Seems to be a nicely done restomod, I just feel a bit of a fatigue when it comes to them, especially 911s.

It's a beaut but with how much these restomods cost, one would be afraid to drive it as it was intended. Are these being built as investment pieces or something?

Cost more to build than to buy. Not an investment. Don’t ask how I know! This might present a good opportunity for someone. Still this one is more “mod” than resto and not quite to my taste.

I’m not so sure the green of the engine fan matches the tarter interior!

Whole scheme doesn't match for me. Crayon with yellow headlights, orange indicators and gold on black wheels? All over the place.

@@Joe_BM6 I agree, at least on video it's a bit of a mess. Wasn't a fan of the nasty looking tail pipes either...no chrome and bit rusty :/

Mirrors and lights and wheels are nothing like any 911. Not nice and a massive price tag.

Mirrors are based on 911 RSR and old Le Mans cars, wheels are updated Fuchs which are pretty much the most common wheels on old Porsches. Sure lights are not, but then if ut means you can actually drive the car at night…

@@Carrera-gp9od those mirrors actually work. The glass is usually not flat to give you a larger field of view. I probably prefer the original Fuchs also. I was pointing out they are not ‘nothing like any 911’.

Credibility crashed when he pretended to be in the ’country’ as he drove thru a residential area. Shame he didn’t actually get out into the country. Pheasants? I was worried he was about to knock down a pedestrian!

All of these backdate 911's look the same now. Everyone and their mother does the same typical mods. From the Prototipo steering wheel, the 2.7 RS body kit to the stupid tarten seat inserts. It's as if the folks that build these are all clamoring over one another, for the chance to sell to the next new money, no style basic bro that has to have everything everyone they perceive is just like them wants. Reimagined my ass.... I hope the irony of that statement is not lost. More like cookie cutter.

Hardly true. Many sport a 3.2 w stock CIS pumping out a lame 200hp. A 964 based engine on ITBs can run six figures and 300+ plus hp in a light car really moves it.

@@jebidiahcarlyon3543 unfortunately every for an old 911 engine if you mod is ~$5k! Pistons and cylinders $5k, I had my box redone w short gears $5k. Carbs $5k. Don’t even ask about FI!!!!!

@@michaelhughes3302 modern colour on a backdate, 1552 wheels, Boxster brakes, etc. But that is just me. I had RSR replica brakes, period coolness, but the cost 🥲. Just my style

Nice car, but it needs to lose the silly name badges and go back to the correct Porsche badges. It is still a PORSCHE after all, not a 'Paul Stephens'.

@@allensaunders449 Of course, and the next owner can put on whatever badges they want too. But it still says Porsche on the VIN tag and log book, and nobody will look at it and say it's a nice Paul Stephens. Even Singer still badge all their cars correctly as Porsches.

It's one thing to name your own car, but another to rebrand and sell a vehicle, Tbf Porsche are good sports in allowing this with the likes of 'Singer' ect.... But you try pulling this trick with Ferrari and your ass would be sued to the point Mr Stephens would be living in a cardboard box! and anyone who's buys his modded vehicles would be blacklisted from Ferrari for life!

I don’t think he knows a thing about cars. Chats about the engine and all he mentioned is the colour of the fan! Quite a poor review of what is a great car

Bespoke cars? Really? You will make a car to my specific wishes and measurements? Even F1 drivers don’t exactly get that…they are built bespoke for 1 and the other one gets maybe semi tailor made…Maybe check your English..
