I actually can milk. It's a rebel canning thing, but I have canned many, many quarts and pints of 2% milk. That's the one my daughter likes the most! I have used jars that were on the shelf for almost a year. But I have not canned any soups or anything with dairy in it. My main reason is that the processing times are so different, I think it would curdle in the soups and things! But that's just me. I just recently found your channel and so far I am really enjoying learning from you!! Thanks so much for sharing with us!!

WOW! I'm tired just watching you. I need to can some beans while my canner is out. Yestetday I canned 7 pints of rump roast that I got on sale for $3.99. Soup would be good to. Wish I had thought of that before I canned all of tje roasts. Oh, well. I can add the meat when I get ready to heat it up. Have you thought about canning some meatballs? I make mine with just the meat and spices. No eggs or oatmeal/breadcrumbs and they hold together just fine. Bake until almost done and pressure can them.I canned some in spaghetti sauce and some in beef broth (for Stoganoff, etc). Suttonsdaze has a video on how to do them. Good call making the Salisbury steaks. They look good!

Absolutely love it! I have two! I didn’t want a stove top one either, so I got this. After the first couple of times of being nervous and scared canning with it, I loved it! It is great, so easy too!

I just subscribed to your channel. I just started my canning journey this past summer and had my first garden grocery store as well. Lol. I'm a rebel canner to with some things. I love your videos. I'm thinking about starting a you tube channel but I'm not very computer savvy so I'm just wandering how hard is it to edit and make the videos? I've been thinking about doing this for several months now but I just wanted to ask around and see how to get started. Can you give me any suggestions or tips?

You have to start somewhere. You get better as you go. You learn as you go. Editing just depends on the style of video, but you don’t know if you don’t try. ❤️

Do you just put the bread machine on a certain setting for it to knead? I have a bread machine but haven’t used it but maybe 4-5 times! I really want to start making all of my bread! I have an electric canner just like yours! Love it!

You put it on the dough setting. I don’t bake anything in mine.

When you go to cook your minute rice, how do you do that? I would love to do this, but I have no idea how to cook the dehydrated rice after.

The same as you would minute rice you buy in store. It does take a couple minutes longer to cook in my opinion, but same other then that. www.thepurposefulpantry.com/diy-instant-rice-with-a-dehydrator/

I believe this is the first time I have seen one of your videos. I have to say that I just don't understand rebel canning or encouraging anyone to do so. There are shortcuts I may take in different areas of my life but home canning food for my family is never going to be one of them.

Are the pinto beans for a side dish or to add to soups?

I’m new to the bread machine I just got one, do you just let the machine mix, take out and bake in the oven? I saw your bagel video and it looks so good but was confused how do you know when to take out because if you leave it would it not just bake in the maker.
