Our Deep condolences,to his family,I just lost my cousin yesterday of cancer.and now today him.she would hear his music to relax her mine in time know that he with going to heaven too as,well.so sad it really hurts aloted.but he in heaven w the Lord now server him .he will be miss but all his good memory of his music r w us. Grateful we still have Tejano bands left but at a loss of losing a music legend in Jimmy Gonzalez. Had the supreme experience of attending a ton of Mazz dances over the course of 30 years plus and he always gave his best performance. Definitely will be missed. Rest in peace brother, your music will live in our hearts forever...Mazz.

He was a great human, musician, family man, who will be missed greatly, and I hope the family finds solace in knowing that he was and is loved and respected by a great majority. We are with them in their hours of grief, now and always. May Jimmy rest in peace. We'll see you again someday.

My heart is broken and his memories will forever live seeing him in concerts, he sang songs that touched my heart and soul, RIP Jimmy Gonzales and my condolences to his family, we will for ever love him and keep his music in our hearts 😭😭💔💔I want people see what amazing and kind and humble person he was , he was known to do many concerts and events. But one thing i will never forget is that he sang a few songs at my mother laws funeral when she passed back in 2007 , he had told us that he had never done anything like that, and as i held back my tears as he sang i knew it was hard for him to do. But we will forever be grateful for having him coming to do. I knew it was hard for him to do, but Thats the wonderful person he was. My my mother law was one of his biggest fans and i know she was looking down so happy. I know his family is grieving but he is a angel who is now seeing down and seeing how much he was loved ❤❤❤❤
