Ashley Stout and her horse Avant Garde (Grady) were cross-country schooling on July 11, 2019 when they had a rotational fall. Ashley passed away, and Grady broke his neck and had to be euthanized. Ashley Stout was 13 years old and Grady was 7.
The two of them were training for NAYC (North American Youth Championship) and were going to be attending on July 22. The pair had gotten together in early 2018 and had much success together. It has been nearly 2 years since they both passed, and they are still being remembered. The accident was absolutely tragic and it's heartbreaking that both were taken so soon. They will never be forgotten, as they had such a strong bond and accomplished so much together. 💚💚💚
I did not know Ashley personally, but I hope she will be remembered forever. Fly high together Ashley and Grady.
