    I think that living arrangement is tradition in devout Muslim families. I think the youngest son remains living with their parents even when married. He seems so unaffected by money and fame too. I’m sure Khabib enjoys the trappings of fame but due to how he was raised he stays centered.

  • @MCXM111

    @MCXM111

    Bro, one of the sons usually keeps living with his parents in this part of the world, even after he marries and has his own kids. That's just the way it is in this culture. And if your house is big enough you would have your whole family (brothers) living there with you. Your sisters leave after they get married and move out to their husbands fwmily, your brothers stay in your fathers house. So Khabib living with his dad means pretty much nothing. He is just being a typical Muslim from Dagestan.

    My brother and I lost our father suddenly to lung cancer in 2008, 3 years after our mom died suddenly from pancreatic cancer. My dad was musician and I was currently on tour with my band at the time (at his request that I kept playing the shows despite him being in the hospital) and as a result I didn't make it back in time to be with him. That has haunted me ever since. I am terribly sorry about Khabib's father and I'm at least glad that he could be there with his first hero as he passed on to be with Allah. The pain hits you in several waves. First the shock and immediate pain of loss, then you have a funeral just a few days later where it hits you again. Then there is having to come to the realization that they aren't there anymore and it leaves a permanent hole in your heart. It took several months for me to get my shit together when my father died 5 years ago and not a day goes by that I don't think about him. It's like a broken vase, you can glue the pieces back together but the cracks remain.

If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour.24. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small." 25.
