Idk, something seems off, all I got out of this was "Apparently Derium was feeling unwelcome, but I don't know why because we wanted him to run the KZread." Then the avoidance of giving the full store because "There's no point since you all already support Kevin so much." Doesn't sit right with me.

I mean the comments paint the picture right? It’s a decent amount of hate, and even when a situation can be explained if you don’t just have undeniable proof it can always backfire into some weird he said she said mud fling

honestly these guys are only in it for the money, they dont have any heart in these videos, they bought out derium just to have a headstart on making money in the pokemon community

Regardless of what behind the scenes shenanigans have gone on, the channel is called Derium's Pokemon. There is no more Derium here, you're basically children putting on dad's suit and trying to go to his workplace and do his job. There's a reason most bands who replace the lead singer fail, the name might be the same but that's it. You'd probably have more success starting a channel yourselves and building it properly, rather than watching this one slowly bleed subs as people realize its not Derium anymore.

I don’t know what happened behind the scenes. What I do know is at the very minimum, this was a boring video to watch. I can ignore the fact this channel is completely changing from how content will be made and who is making it, but my god this was a terrible, terrible first impression. And I think that really says it all.

Very pour response. You guys didn't address the "elephant in the room" at all. Hid behind saying "we wouldn't believe a word you would say" because we are loyal Derium (Kevin). He was quite transparent about situation today, unlike you guys.

It would of been a smarter move to pay him $5k+ a month to not start a new channel. Him going his own route is going to end you. Hopefully that brick and mortar can keep you afloat. But streaming wise you'll lose a ton. I spent probably 10k+ a year on breaks. I'm going with derium.

This was a poor response. You two did not address anything. Explain from your side of the story why the man that build this channel. Suddenly goes “I’m not welcome here” and leaves. Just going “We where shocked too” and “Big plans for the channel” is just not good enough. Until there is a reasonable expectation. People will continue to be upset.

Well, this channel is dead to me now. You sealed the deal by not knowing what you're opening and being extremely boring but good luck to you both.

​@@LuxuryBallCollectibles You guys can still be successful but I think one of the weirder things will be for instance, "who are these guys doing pokemon breaks with over 500k subs that no one has ever heard of before." There is nothing wrong with either of you guys, you just aren't very entertaining, maybe look into ways to improve on that or find a 3rd person that can add some comedy/laughs to the stream. The only other thing is it feels like there was bad blood between you guys and the actual Derium and It's just kind of awkward all around now. It's not your standard KZread drama I guess(it probably is) but you both, I'm sure, understand that this was going to be an uphill battle going about it the way you are. Look at all the upset and pissed off comments. I doubt this is how you wanted any of this to go but you should of had a much better plan in place or an entirely different one. Most of this puzzles me and part of that is we don't and will never know the full story.

I am just trying to explain to you that people are going to continue to find this a weird situation to the point that you should probably start a new channel. Just changing the name isn't enough. These are all Derium's subs and It's not going to be worth your time to attempt to win them over as I am sure you are coming to realize. It just doesn't seem logical to do with Derium being gone for good. It's not your channel and they aren't your subs, no matter that you have the login and password. You should have known not to expect a warm welcome or one at all. Most people came here for Derium and the pack openings were secondary. That was why I was saying you will need to be a lot more entertaining if you want people to watch because there are so many PokeTubers already making amazing content that revolves around opening product. You probably shouldn't open Japanese product on his channel either when you don't know enough about pokemon to realize you've just pulled one of the most playable and powerful cards in both Scarlet EX and Violet EX. I don't know Japanese but I knew that was an alt art and I knew what the ability and attack do because many sources post translations and they only take a second to read(pokebeach) and I play as much as I collect so knowing that stuff is important to me Yes I talk a lot, lmao. but It's essentially effortless, trust me, I have ADHD and this took me just a short moment to write. Here, answer me this, do you really think you can win these 500k people over? I know I couldn't and again It's just so weird. Like I clicked on this video and it was people I don't know and I was like did I click the wrong video??? Grow your own community one sub at a time. You will not be able to get most of the people who are already subbed to stay so why not start over with your own identity and channel?

how are u just coming in here after derium just left his youtube channel that he has worked on for so so long and acting like everything’s all good? this channel belongs to derium and always will. without him there would be nothing here. I’ve been watching since card shop life and know that kevin loves this channel so much, and for him to leave, something real bad musta gone down, so i won’t support the people that are in his place. You completely lost me at 2:57. The hurt feelings and negative emotions are thing we WANT to hear. Trying to "be only positive" in a situation like this is already kind of sus on its own, but your complete unwillingness to discuss any specific details about it and beard guy's awkward silence really makes me think you guys are to blame, or at least have part in, Derium's leaving / feelings of discomfort. Regardless of if you meant it or not, *you still make him feel unwelcomed on the channel literally in his image.* People aren't "just here for the cards"; otherwise you wouldn't be receiving such severe backlash I'm not even subbed to the channel (anymore). I just decided to come back and check an old KZreadr I used to binge watch back in the day. But to see how everything is being treated and handled by you guys makes me glad Derium willingly separated himself

If you’re buying a business and a former employee is leaving, it doesn’t hurt you to explain in more detail what happened.. he’s already gone, what do you have to lose? From what I’m gathering, Kevin was/is bad at business and was underwater in 2020 pretty bad and you guys bailed him out.. you could have atleast explained how that deal came about and why you and Kevin didn’t gel… oh well

With that said I subscribed to this channel for Derium Dan Mikey and wifey. Without them this isn’t deriums Pokemon. But I’m not gonna throw hate at these guys for making a business decision. End of the day Derium sold out for the money.
