Great video. Thank you. But how did you get the total equivalent X base shear? Do we have to define it? If yes, Please explain how.

I have one query Sir. While multiplying the factor 9.83 something at the end that is obtained corresponding to x direction right so it should be multiplied only with U1 in the RS load case pattern. Why you multiplied it with U2 also, for U2 which is in y direction the value should be calculated first in y direction and then it should be multiplied no? Please clarify, a bit confused.

If you go to the SAP2000 manual, it is explained to define like this. Please check.
