Great video Christy. Sorry that I missed this live stream. I appreciate all your candor and honesty. You have a great personality and are entertaining to watch. You're very down to earth and would be so cool to watch any flick or TV show with (no matter wherever the venue is). You are one of my favorite reactors out there (now we just gotta get you more well versed in more classic flicks & TV shows, especially from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s up to early 2000s). I first wondered about a few reactors and if they are faking it, but after some thought I came to the conclusion, "Who cares?" the TV shows and movies we love SO much are created with people "faking it" that's what actors do! Hey Dan! I actually watched one of the Batman movies, but it was like my second reaction ever so it isn’t that good. Maybe I’ll post it someday. But yeah I’m interested in checking out some other superhero movies, doesn’t have to be Marvel. Although X-Men sounds so cool!

Your preference for savoury snacks runs similar to mine. I tend to like meat snacks, like corned beef, biltong, turkey spam, Asian fish sausage - things like that. I also like plain salted potato chips (crisps), though I keep a stockpile of my favoured sweets as well, including things that are fruity like fruit and lemon sherbets (fruity hard candy with sherbet powder in the middle), peppermints, Kopiko cappuccino candies, and musk sticks (very sweet soft fondant sticks that have a mild rose flavour - they are very Australian). My sweet tastes veer towards fruity and tart.

@@CristyReacts There are potentially deadly ones here in California, but they typically stay outdoors in enclosed spaces. Though, I've found one on the handle of my garage door once, and I had to grab a stick and relocate it and scrape its silk home off. Those ones are probably just as afraid of us humans. Even aside from them eating flies, I just don't like having bug splatter on my shoes, tracking it through the house and junk. Yuck. They can take their blood and guts and leave, thank you very much. :^P

Oh, also....this may just because I'm a middle aged white guy, but when I see a younger woman with a lot of visible tattoos, I assume there is some queerness happening. Not in a bad way or anything. Just seems to be true more often than not in my limited experience. Might be the way others are picking up the same. Love the reactions, and I am so glad I found you early in your journey before you hit 100k and beyond.

All "country" music produced in the last 20+ years IS pop music. Country music died out in the '90s.

I love that your channel is apolitical. Today's politics do a great job of dividing people. The thing I love most about your channel is that it allows us to celebrate the things that can bring us together. We need more of that!

I have a question about your dog. I'm thinking about getting one myself. Huskies are cool dogs and supposedly much healthier than breeds like German Shepherds, but where I live we only have winter five months a year and that sort of dog loves the cold snowy outdoors. I'm pretty sure where you live winter is mostly theoretical like some exotic particle. Is your Husky happy without cold and snow? Have they ever experienced it? JW. Have a nice day.

Hi! Yes my husky is happy in warm weather because we keep our home quite cool. We make sure to walk him very early in the morning when the sun isn’t too hot. And I love huskies but they can also be a little problematic. He’s always trying to run away, there’s no way I could ever have him off-leash or in an open field, and he’s stubborn. German shepherds are more loyal and obedient. She follows us around off leash and follows instructions. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks for the response. I know about Husky wandering. My sister had one when I was a kid who had a twenty mile range covering three towns and eight farms. Everyone fed him and he got terribly fat. But he was very happy. I did not know you had a German Shepherd, too. That's boss. I have to choose. I want a dog who wants to accompany me throughout the day in the work truck. Husky howling concerns me.

You're not missing a ton by not watching DC. There's a couple of good movies in recent DCEU, but overall it's pretty meh. That said, you can't go wrong with most of the Batman movies, starting with Batman 1989.

This is a good video, and I like the personal touch. I think my guesses were pretty on the mark, surprisingly: You speak multiple languages fluently (two would have been my guess, and two it is!), you're kind to animals, you're a Christian (but not terribly dogmatic/zealous), you're not a big reader, etc. On the issue of politics, whatever your approach, you can't entirely avoid politics, one way or another. Your decision to eschew politics and remove political comments from your channel is, in fact, a *political* choice -- and a popular one, as most people don't want to venture into political territory just as our nation is embracing fascism (I'd elaborate, but I don't want my comment to be removed, lol!). An ostrich with its head in the ground doesn't have to feel like an accessory to... whatever. Abdicating/remaining silent/silencing others is a very popular choice, these days -- and honestly, I can't say that I blame you for it. Expressing no political opinions means ruffling no feathers, and you don't want to alienate a portion of your audience. (In the spirit of the zeitgeist, it's better to censor others than to be censored oneself -- though I only know what the latter feels like.) Anyway, I enjoy your channel and fun reactions! I hope my comments help your algorithm. Many of the popular mainstream movies you react to are some of my very favorites, so here's hoping you get to 40k subscribers by year's end! (P.S. Merry year-round Cristy-mas!)
